We're home!

Kirstenmumof3 wrote: Claudia's surgery went really well. She didn't even cry when the nurse came and took her to the operating room. She did vomit a lot, but the nurses assured me that this was to be expected. We got home around 3:30 and I'm just exhausted, I couldn't sleep last night because I was so worried about the surgery. Claudia is sleeping right now. We have to put drops in her ears and she is on anti-biotics for a week. I'm so glad we are home and that it all went well. Poor Claudia can't have anything to eat tonight, she can only have clear fluids until tomorrow. Thank God I'm still breastfeeding! She seems to be keeping things down now, thanks to the gravol they gave her in the hospital. She's sleeping now, but has to be out of Daycare for the week!

Claudia seems to be doing fine this morning she was up at 5:00 after sleeping from 7pm-11pm and then I changed her, nursed her and she went right back to sleep until 5:00. Lastnight DH did a bad thing! He ordered Pizza, then he put Claudia in her highchair and gave her a cup of juice! Well wasn't she PISSED OFF that she couldn't have her favourate food! Poor Claudia and BAD BAD DADDY ! She had to make due with Chicken broth, which she chugged back! Oh and I have to say that we could tell Claudia was going to be okay when she woke up in the hospital (after the gravol), chugged back a cup of juice and was chattering to the girl in her room, getting louder when she wouldn't answer What a character!

I just put her back to bed, she was getting a little cranky! I'm wondering if I should continue the tylenol over the next few days. They told me she wouldn't be in any pain, but how do they really know that? I think if she is still fussy when she wakes up again, I will give her some. Also she does not like chocolate and vanilla pudding mixed together and of course that is what DH bought her lastnight! Maybe the older 2 will like it!

poor Claudia tell DH when she is better that he has to buy Claudia pizza and watch her eat it

i would still give her tylenol if she seems cranky. maybe just at bed time. she'll be back to her old self in no time. enjoy the week off with her

I would do what you suggested and still give her the tylenol if she is still cranky.
