Went Strawberry picking - Lots of pictures!

That's all she could get away from work for She is saving her vacation time for when their third child comes in December. My neices are 3 and 2 yrs old.

They are such cuties!!!

And by the way, we picked 12 lbs of strawberries (about 8 or 9 quarts) They are so good mmmmmmmm good.

And we ate most of them yesterday. I did get to freeze about a quart. I think I may take my dd again during the week. It was fun and nutricious!!

They drove for five hours only to turn around and go right back on a five hour trip the next day?! That was incredibly nice of them.

YUMM!!! I have wanted good strawberries for so long now. Our local strawberry farm was knocked out of commission due to Hurricane Ivan a few yrs back, so there are none around that I know of.

Yeah my brother is incredibly adventuresome! and his wife and kids go right along with him. Since she is about 13 weeks pg, you can imagine the bathroom stops they needed. They left home 9am Friday and arrived here at about 3pm. Then they left here at 7pm last night with kids in pjs, The kids slept the whole way but my brother took a wrong turn in the mountains and they didn't arrive home until about 3am. But we all enjoyed the visit even though it was a short one.

Thanks for the compliments about the girls. When they are together they look like they could be sisters, all with the big blue eyes, brown hair and freckles!!

I love strawberry picking! I swear those strawberry farms would make so much more money if they weighed all the kids before & after and charged for the strawberries they ate too!

MB's stomach is doing much better with the meds. I wouldn't have thought so, since she hadn't spoken of pain in awhile, but she is sleeping better. She must have been having some pains, that she didn't speak of. And she is (TMI ahead) less gassy. She missed her meds two different days and both of those, she was burping and 'poofing' (as we call it) so much. So it is good to know that the meds are doing something. I hate to medicate my kids without knowing that they need it. KWIM? Thanks for asking.

Nicole have you checked Elberta, AL? It's the one with the big strawberry in front of it on Hwy 98. I think they are still open for business. We will have to check them out.

Now I want some strawberries.
