Well when it rains it pours! - Bad news for me yesterday

The reason for letting me go was b/c I wasn't "technical" enough. He told me that I and said I am sorry but that is funny. I said when Dorothy doesn't know how to do something on the computer who does she call? ME! She has worked their for 13 years and I have worked their for 1 and I had to show her how to use excel and word. I mean come on. I am not technical enough!
I was never once gave a warning, never once wrote up. Just let go. If I wasn't technical would've I have worked there a year?
I did tell him that I felt like I wasn't given the chance t succeed in my position. That I felt like my opinions and thoughts weren't ever considered. No open door policy at all from me. I told him that it's hard to succeed in a position when the person who you work w/ gripes and throws a fit when you staple something w/ a corner staple that is at an angle when she thinks the staple should go straight across. I mean she griped about how I stapled paper!
So, I am stressed to say the least. I mean I lost my job. The economy sucks and my husband had a 2800.00 CT scan this morning and is missing work tonight.
Pray for me please! I need it.

I am sorry the boss wasn't more involved, at least enough to observe this other woman too, not that he would have let her go but to see what you had to contribute. I hope something GREAT plops itself down in front of you

MommyToAshley replied: Oh no Mel! That just sucks, I am sorry. I know what it is like to worry about medical bills. But, then to lose your job on top of it can only be stressful. It sounds like your boss took the cowards way out. I hope the most awesome job lands right in your lap!!
In the meantime, I would call the financial office at the hospital and explain your situation. You may qualify for some sort of assistance with the medical bills and the sooner you start the process the better.
We have Randy in our prayers. Take care of yourself and your family. The bills can wait a day or two.

They will soon realize just how lucky they were to have you in that office for the year you were there! You were always willing to go above and beyond for them-even for the one(s) who did NOT deserve your loyalty and hardwork! You were an asset to that company and Dorthy-well she is just an *ss! 
I love ya girl and I know how hard things are right now but they will get better! You will get through this! I am praying for you like crazy-I know that a better day is on the horizon for your work situation and I know that Randy is going to heal quickly!

That is a big chunck of money for us and I am not sure how thing are going to go. Everthing sucks and someday I just want to move away and start fresh.
