Well....we're moving....

i've heard the cost of living in phoenix is on the low side so 50k will take you a long way!

Well my house address is actually in Scottsdale but its so close to phoenix.

Well, Dh is actually from the phoenix area (Mesa), and I lived there for a little over a year right after I graduated college. We both NEVER wanted to live there again b/c of the heat. We like the changing of seasons and really love living here in Lincoln, but it's just not been good for us here. And the cost of living is twice as high as it is here in Lincoln. But we're hoping that 50K a year, plus whatever I can make with my photo biz will help to dig us out of our debt hole that we're in right now. Maybe even get us to save our money for a home. (Wouldn't that be nice )

We'll be moving the last week of December hopefully. We told our relator that we want to be moved in by January 5th into a rental home. Dh has to be out there next Monday for some work, and he's going to tour some homes to see if they'll fit our needs. I guess that will be the one really nice thing....living in a home instead of an apartment.

Jamison'smama replied: DH and I lived in Phoenix right after we got married. I'm with you, tooooo hot but it sounds like this is the best for you. There used to be another Phoenix member here (maestra) but I haven't seen her for awhile.
