Well, we survived Frances
amynicole21 wrote: It really wasn't such a big deal... some scary gusts but it was NOTHING like Charley. We lost power at 5:30am Sunday and just got it back at 6pm Monday. Last night was a loooooong night - hot and miserable. We went to bed at 8:30 because it was pitch black and storms kept passing through. I love electricity
Now we just have to keep our eye on Ivan out in the Atlantic... I swear, if this thing comes through Florida again I am getting the heck out of here!
maestra replied: I was worried about you yesterday! I'm glad you got through it ok!
Kaitlin'smom replied: wheeww I have been worried about you...thoes darn hurricanes are messing everthing up, I hope it does not come your way.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I'm glad that you got through this one all right. I have been thinking of you. I have been watching Ivan myself and I am hoping that it decides to skip Florida. I am beginning to think someone did something to anger mother nature this Hurricane season.
lsjulee replied: Wow two hurricanes in a row!! I was praying for all in Florida. I mean, this was just too frequent, wasn't it?
Glad you are ok
~CrazieMama~ replied: I am glad to hear your ok Amy. I love my electricity too!!!!!! lol
kit_kats_mom replied: Happy you made it unscathed. We apparently didn't even lose power but the rain on the interstate was BAD!
It was pretty gusty in Tallahassee last night & it rained all day up there. In fact it rained hard from Tallahassee to about 40 miles N of Tampa on our drive home. I'm happy that we didn't get any more rain at home though. Our pond is full!
A&A'smommy replied: Good I hope Ivan leaves ya'll alone! This weather SUCKS!
Josie83 replied: There have been pictures of Frances on the news and she looked really bad! I'm glad that it seems to have left you alone, though, it is scary to think of what those flipping things can do! Glad to hear you're safe, I hope Ivan leaves you alone as well! xx
Boys r us replied: Glad to hear that you florida gals are doing okay!!! Now we get the remnants of Charlie today..YIPPEE!! TONS OF RAIN! I'm hoping it's not as bad as the tropical storm Gaston we had last week, which caused major flooding and caved in major sections of the road!
kimberley replied: geesh Florida is not getting a break at all. glad you are okay and prayers that the next one misses you.
coasterqueen replied: Ahh I was looking for this post . I was hoping you were ok. I figured after I saw all the reports this weekend that you were safe. The friends we stayed with aparently had family in Floriday so they were keeping track of what was going on too.
Glad that it wasn't too bad.
