Well...they're off. - 1st day of school (pic)

They did great, didn't seem nervous at all. I did great too until I was waiting to turn left out of the parking lot and looked back to see only Keegan and Patrick (babysitting kid).

It's hard to let them go after having them home for three years. It's hard to give up the control in a way...handing them over to someone else. I'm just trying to keep in mind that there is someone up there who is looking out for them and will keep them safe for me.

So now I can get my house really clean and play with the little ones and have some peace at least...that is a nice bonus to it all.

Here is a picture of today. They do have other colors (white & red) but somehow they managed to pick matching outfits.... made for a nice picture anyway.

I got it at Kohls. They have the uniform clothes for 50-55% off right now. Yes, the bow is attached. Kristen liked it because it's a little different and she's always looking for a way to show some style.

mammag replied: Well, they did say they were uncomfortable but when I told them to wear their shorts tomorrow Cade said no. I know I was burning up it was so humid.

BTW, they had a good time and all made at least one friend. Kristen made three (she switched groups mid day though ) Cade and Conner can't seem to remember the names of their friends. Cade's is called "that dude" in the mean time. Conner's are called "my friends".

Kristen and Cade both had a paper to write already when they got home. And I had a gazillion uniforms to iron again and papers to sign. And it all starts again tomorrow.................
