Well it's my Birthday and I Have the FLU

We're supposed to be going out for dinner with the whole family at 6:00 and I don't know if I'm going to be able to go. I've been able to keep down some ginger ale, applejuice and piece of toast.

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Sounds like you caught what the kids at Claudia's daycare caught. It took a few days for family members to get sick from when they came over on August 30th.... it's probably the same for you. Sure sounds like the same thing we all had down here

Kirstenmumof3 replied: I've been in bed pretty much all day. Dinner was cancelled, but the kids came up and brought me my gifts. Claudia has been so cute all day, coming up to me and putting her hand on my forehead saying "yup, still hot!" I came down to have some chicken noodle soup and then I'm off to bed. Thanks everyone! I guess I was wrong about Claudia's Daycare, she really did have the flu. Emily got sick yesterday afternoon, but she seems to be okay today. DH wants to have the dinner out next weekend.
