Well he's gone.... - I'm very sad :(

MomToMany replied: Lots of hugs for you, Carrie-Ann!! I know I would have a hard time being away from my DH for that long, too. Just think positive until March, then you can go see your family. It seems like a long time away, but it's not (LOL, that's when my baby comes!). And, it's good you have some support there, especially if you need to do something by yourself.

I know that cannot always be easy, either though. ((((HUGS)))) Let us know when he arrived and we will keep you company when you are missing him. I know it isn't the same, but maybe it will take your mind off of it for a little while. I'm so so sorry.

LOL!!!! I am going to get back there for a football season one of these days. It would have been nice to go with him. This TDY is just short enough so the military doesn't have to pay for dependents who might come along. It's only about 16 weeks long and they won't pay unless it's a little over 6 months. It would have been nice to be in Pensacola, I really like it there. Then I would only be about a 3 hour ride from Tallahassee. The course is such funky hours I would have been there a lot. I really miss that town. I had this very evil craving for Guthries the other day.

LOL!!!! Now you've done it. It's very tempting you know. I've really been torn about the decision to stay or go. I have two big hangups: 1. My very large fear of flying and 2. My very active 16 month old on an airplane. I just have these visions of her wanting to run pell mell all over the place. I do have a free ride if I decide to come though. My parents are going to pay for it. It would mean that I would have to go to Naples, but It would be for three months. Plenty of time to plan a nice trip to Tally.

A&A'smommy replied: awwwie sorry your man is gone!! my dad use to be in the air force so i was young but i still remember my dad leaving for stuff like that...it sucked!! i remember during the gulf war he was gone twice and missed my brothers first christmas but on valentines day he was able to order candy and balloons for us!!
