Well Tannner got new glasses..and he hates them - And I feel awful..did I make a mistake??

Well he is between sizes in frames kind of. His face is to big for the small ones..and he is not quite pre teen size either. SO, I made a choice and he liked them at the shop. They are a little wider.. but they are suppose to last up to a year. And he will grow.
Well as soon as he got them.. Justin was a butthead..and said.. Tan.. you are true nerd now. Which was such a wrong thing to say.. you have no idea. I looked at Justin and I said tell him you are sorry..and I am very disappointed in you JUSTIN!
Well now.. Tanner hates those glasses. Cried for over an hour. It was awful. He really looks up to Justin. And then this! SO, he threw a fit not to wear them to school! It was ruff..
Was a way off base.. do I just not see it..
Here they are.. in the van this morning before he got out for school?>??

I think they look good on him ~ if he absolutely hates them now though will the store exchange them for you?

TANNER'S MOM replied: Well, I worry about his glasses alot. I guess since he has wore them for so long. He is legally blind w/out them. So we have the lenses shaved and thinned..and we go for the most stylish frame we can find.. SO I guess this is my big worry. And it happened at home!

As you can see.. my kids gave it to me w/ both barrels all weekend!

I have an example...if we were home, my 6 yr old DS would use a Zoo Pals plate. But we were visiting with my sister and nephew (he's 12) and Nathan was torn. He wanted a plate like his nephew, but he was dying to have a Zoo Pals plate.

my parents never got mine thinned. I'll get the couirasge to post a pic from wen I was younger later tonight... i would have LOVED to be able to chooose my own glasses. He should feel lucky.
My3LilMonkeys replied: I think he looks good in them! I wish my mom would have picked out my glasses when I was a kid. I always picked my own and looking back at the pictures I had *such* bad taste (well, still do  ).
