Well I went and filed today..

New Years Eve we got into an arguement about all of the BS he has been putting me through and he picked up the dining room table and flipped it over. Well Teagan was on the floor and it just missed her. Thats what REALLY motivated me to go to file today. Divorce will be next but I dont have $1,200 for an attorney right now. Unfortunatly the firm I work for doesn't do marital stuff. 
The only thing im worried about is that since he went back to work as a waiter even though he makes great money in tips his paycheck is squat. Its only about $60 a week. But im sure they will try to figure out what he REALLY makes and estimate how much he should pay for support from that. (I hope)
Oh what a mess this has all become.

kimberley replied: oh sweetie, i am sorry things have come to this for you. you are doing the right thing. to display that kind of rage in front of Teagan is unhealthy and dangerous and he really needs help. i am glad she was okay and pray for a better life for both of you. you deserve so much more.

I agree with elvisfan that you should try to find somewhere else to go when those papers arrive. Sounds like he has quite the temper and I have a feeling he isn't going to be very happy about the papers.
Stay safe. You are doing the best thing for you and Teagan, neither of you needs to be in that situation.

Is there someone in your firm you could talk to in confidence to get a recommendation of an attorney who might do payments. I know most won't advance the court costs by maybe for the legal fee portion? I agree getting out ASAP wouold be great! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!
