Weird series of events - ttc

Auburn wrote: Hello. My hubby and I have been TTC for only a month. I had my last AF visit starting on June 27th or 28th. I took no more BC pills after that point. It is now July 26. DTD dates were July 9, 10, and 17th. On July 19th I started to have just a tiny bit of light brown discharge. Thought I was just going to see AF a bit early. Not terribly unusual for me. Well the next day..nothing. 21st through the 24th I had the slight brown discharge again. I took a generic brand HPG on July 24 and it was a very faint positive. Took another out of the same box the next day and it was negative. Thought maybe my urine was just too diluted cause I did pee during the night so I held it for six hours and took another test that same day. Prob really silly I know. lol. That test (first response brand) was also negative. Night of the 25th I had a bit of pink/red blood but just the once when I wiped. Today nothing but the little bit of brown again. That makes eight days of this brownish goo (sorry if TMI) and nothing has come of it. Also wonder why that first test was positive?? All seems very odd. Can anyone shed any light on this one for me??

A&A'smommy replied: I would go to your dr. and get a blood test drawn just to be sure... it could have to do with the fact that you just stopped your bc.

Danalana replied: I wish I knew what to tell you. I have had all kinds of weird things happen to me in my journey toward motherhood...it's almost impossible to know what to tell you. It would probably be a good idea to see your OB. I wish you the best!

I agree. When I was on BC and would accidentally miss a pill or two I would spot, sometimes brownish blood. Thats probably what it's from...stopping the BC. Best of luck with TTC!

Auburn replied: Thank you. I am going to test again on Saturday. If at that point the test is neg and I am still ahving issues I will make an appt with the Doc.. Appreciate the input!

Auburn replied: Took another test on Saturday. It was negative. Still no AF though. I think it may just be stress. We are planning a big move (SC to WI) next month.

grapfruit replied: I just stopped my bc (nuvaring) recently and I've been having the brown goo as you described since Saturday. Which is about a week too soon for AF, but like somebody else said, probably just b/c the BC was stopped.

Auburn replied: Update. Was not pg that time but next one was a charm. Baby boy is due May 29th, 2008!!!
