Weigh In Wednesday
coasterqueen wrote: Yep, it's that time again. Tell us how you did and if you have any new and improved tips to help everyone else out.
coasterqueen replied: I gained 0.8 pounds this week. So from 137.4 to 138.2. I'll claim it because AF is still here unfortunately, I'm bloated BUT I've eated like a pig this past week. I'll just go on and hope next week is better.
b&bsmom replied: I am at 216 I think that is the same as last week not sure it might be 2lbs up. I started this week with a program I saw in Womans Day by Leslie Soanes who does walk away the pounds. It is an 8 week program. This week is to walk 15 min before 2 meals everyday this week. So far I have done it mon, tues and once already today. Wish me luck!!!
coasterqueen replied: Oh that's great Stacy. Keep up the good work. Even if you stay the same, you are working out and towards a new 'life' so don't let the scale get you down. You are doing great!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I put my scale away (for real this time )
AF is here also I did take my measurements. I've lost 6 inches since last September and 14 inches in a year Seeing that makes me feel really great. Knowing that I've made some progress instead of gaining that much more or staying the same.
I'll own up to the fact that I haven't been eating all that great. I don't know what to do when those moments arrive when I'm really not hungry, but more bored. I feel like I have to eat, but nothing healthy sounds good. I always cave. How do I keep from doing this? How do I make healthy choices and eat filling foods? I know that I need to have a better plan for dinner and start cooking dinner again. It's just that Scotty hates chicken and I get so tired of pork. If I cook he won't eat it and I don't know how to cook for just me.
This week I will focus on my eating (again) and exercising. I'll just take it one week at a time. Next month I will take my measurements again and weigh in. I hope this month goes by really fast.
b&bsmom replied: If you are not hungry and are eating because you are bored, I find chewing gum helps. that way I am not eating something I really don't need but still takes care of me wanting to eat something. Just a thought.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Thank you! I chew gum on occasion, but I never think to chew it during those moments. I need to make a list "Things to eat while bored"
Actually it might not be a bad idea.
Kaitlin'smom replied: Amiee about the cooking thing have you ever considered cooking different meats for you? DH and I will do this on occasion when I feel like having one thing and he wants something different. It helps that our meat is individual so it makes it easy to do. Well at least what I get from Schawns is, another reason I love it, you can cook what you want, its delevered, prices are good, food is better than any store bought stuff, if you dont liek it you return the unsued and get your money back (or credit), did I mention its delevered sorry I just love it. Just a thought to cook one meat for you and kids and something else for him ir vice versa.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: That might be the answer to my problems.
I love Schwan's food. It's really tasty. I'll look into it.
TANNER'S MOM replied: Well I am even this week..staying stuck I mean study. AF is here.. I gained 5 lbs with it..but when I got on the scale this morning after pushing water and sleeping all day yesterday I was back to my starting weight. I guess I can't complain. I want to do more though.. I want the last bit gone. I want to see 135!
A&A'smommy replied: I lost .5 lbs but I'm glad because I'm closer to 165 which is my next goal.. i'm weighing 167.5 YAY
