Wednesday Weigh-In

Well, I'm a loser today, but for some reason I'm not as excited about it as I guess I should be. tongue.gif

I lost 2.5 pounds, down to 160 even. I was less than 160 yesterday and I know the scale fluctuates, but I really wanted to officially weigh-in under 160 today. Oh well, it's my fault. We went grocery shopping last night and Kylie wanted some cookies and of course when she went to bed I just had to have some. rolleyes.gif dry.gif

In two weeks I've lost a total of 6.5 pounds, not bad I guess.

TANNER'S MOM replied: I have lost about a lb and half this week.

I wanted more.. but I had quite a few lite beers one day..lol And some good ole margirita's .. I know I did it to myself.. But I sure worked out a lot yesterday. lol

coasterqueen replied: Congrats on being a LOSER Mel! thumb.gif

A&A'smommy replied: congrats to you both!! thumb.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Karen I have proof how much the scale fluctuates! I was 152 last Sunday...by Weds I was 155 and that is the weight I recorded. Today I am back down to 152. wacko.gif It drives me NUTS! That's why I said I was going to forgo the scale, but I need something to go on, ya know? I won't let the scale be the deciding factor in how I feel. That is hard to do when you are just starting out, though. I remember getting SO discouraged. Hang in there! I'm SO proud of you ...you are doing GREAT!! Especially since Ryan is gone and you have been so upset. I would have eaten every cheesecake in town by now. laugh.gif hug.gif

I hate the way scales fluxuate. I can have as much as an 8 pound difference from morning until night, so I make sure I weigh in in the morning wink.gif

Congrats you big LOOSER. thumb.gif tongue.gif emlaugh.gif

The scale doesn't fluctuate for me unless I've given it a reason too, at least when I'm on WW and losing weight. The only time it ever fluctuated when I did WW after Kylie was during AF and if I went over my points. Since I started WW 2 weeks ago the only 2 times it's fluctuated was when I went over my points. And that's exactly what I did to myself last night by eating those cookies. dry.gif So I only have myself to blame. I usually don't see any fluctuation until I get really close to my goal weight and I need to decrease my points more. So I just need to not cheat. tongue.gif

Edit: but yes since he's been gone I've cheated a bit more than I ever have. I just hope I can get control of it and NOT do it or else I'll be bigger than I started out as in 3 months. wacko.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I guess that could be the reason I'm fluctuating, too. laugh.gif I've been such a cheater lately. blush.gif

moped replied: Well I don't have scales so I am not sure how to judge either - but in the last 3 days I have not had any cookies or coke - only water and I have eaten good lunches and dinners - I feel OK

coasterqueen replied:
if you don't have a scale, take your measurements. That's a good way to see results wink.gif.

moped replied: Good thinking - I will do that tonight

Kaitlin'smom replied: CONGRATS to all the losers thumb.gif

I also lost 2.5lbs yes I wanted more gone but I will take the loss. I will have to change my ticker smile.gif

coasterqueen replied:
Congratulations Di!!!!
