Are you still a loser? Are you exercising? Umm... and you know, that other stuff Aimee always remembers to ask us.

And to be perfectly honest... (here goes) .. I GAINED two pounds back! ARGH! But there's no big mystery as to why... totally fell off the wagon. Okay, there - confession IS good for the soul. I got my act back together yesterday and hope to have better news next week.

I have done little to no activity this week, tried to stay on progam but I think I slipped, wanted to eat everything and anything. Can't wait for my Gazelle, according to the tracking it is on a truck and on its way to me. Hopefully I will get it today or tommorow. They warehouse it here in Toronto so it shouldn't take too long.

OK, seriously grouphug.gif grouphug.gif to you. It is so darn hard to keep on track! You will do better next week, we can do it together!

As for me: Nothing, Nada, Zero! No gain, no loss, so I guess I am doing OK! I actually expected a gain since this was week two of birthday celebrations (more cake) and of course the school had their holiday bake sale (more sweets) and lately I have had NO self control! As for next week, I would like to think it will be better, but quite honestly with my trip to Tucson (and meeting Jen!) means lots of fast food and little exercise, so I won't get my hopes up!

Boys r us replied: Okay I've been doing SO good! I HAVE to brag on myself!

I've been eating either a fat free yogurt or a special k breakfast bar for breakfast and then for lunch, I've been having a fat free yogurt and 15 wheat thins.
Then for dinner, I've been having whatever I want..within reason! I've been exercising real portion control with dinner and excluding the bad stuff like potatoes and bread, basically just eating the meat. I've been keeping my calories under 1,000/day.

I'm on week 2 right now and I've lost 8 pounds! I know it always comes off faster when you first begin and then levels off after that, but I'm still proud of myself!

I need to get back to the gymn..I haven't been ONCE in a couple of months and I know I need to, I've just been so busy! I used to practically live at the gym..every morning I was there at 5am. I need to get back into that!

ammommy replied: thumb.gif Congrats Nichole. That's great. Just a friendly reminder from someone who has been there, though. A calorie intake that low could cause your body to go into starvation mode and hold onto every ounce you eat. If you notice weight creeping up, add some healthy food into your diet. Backwards thinking, but it works.

As for me bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif I gained 2 pounds. Some of it is due to AF, but I'm really frustrated. I'm working out in my heart rate zone at least 3 times a week and I gained weight. So not fair smash.gif The good news is that I tried to drown my sorrows in Girl Scout cookies and they tasted so awful that I could only eat one. That's progress, I guess.

It's a whole new week, though, so I'm off to guzzle some water.

booey2 replied: Sorry couldn't get back on the puter last night. Well my Valentine Chinese food did me in and I retained 4.2 pounds of water this week. So back to the drawing board and get up on my Gazelle tonight while I watch Survivor. I am also gonna start journalling my food just not my points unless it is not a CORE food then I have to do the points for those. Good luck to us all this week.

Kaitlin'smom replied: well I feel in good compamy on the gain side I gained 2 lbs back sad.gif bawling.gif I had a hard time with DH'd b-day and valentines day, but its a new week and I am starting off good and back to watching what and how much I eat. I am planning on getting to the gym to at least walk the treadmill, there is one close to work so i could go over on my lunch hour....darn I forgot the bag I packed last night, guess I will have to waite until tomorrow.....
