We were robbed last night.

Well he came in the house and asked where his quail were. I said they are in the barn. He said, yes, the big ones were in the barn but his baby Bobwhite where missing. There were about 70 of them in a brooder. I went and sure enough they were gone but the heat light and lid were still on. Everyone knows we raise and release/sell them so it's not a secret. They are about $7.50 a piece so someone is probably took them to sell. It's just really upsetting that we live out in the country and still get robbed.

They even took our quail water feeders. Whoever it was knew what they were taking because we have other breeds of quail that aren't worth as much (they are bigger and used for eating) and they were all still here. I hate thieves. Our road never gets traffic either and our house is way way off the road. I think it was someone coming to visit or ask about the quail and realized that nobody was home and just started loading them up. Your not going to steal that many quail unless you came with a container to carry them in.
