We are packed and almost ready to go - won't be on for a while

coasterqueen wrote: Dh decided today that we were leaving for Kentucky tomorrow after work instead of Thursday morning. Left me frantic since I thought I'd have tomorrow night to help pack. So we (all of us, girls and all, lol) started packing as soon as we got home and just finished for the night. We still have a TON to pack early in the morning before work and a few things when we get home from work before we head out. Our van is packed to the gills and we bought a canvas cargo bag which holds 15 cubic feet and that thing is packed tight as can be. And I still have a stack of stuff here (quite a big stack ) that needs to go in there. AND we are acquiring another passenger on our way back from the trip. Not sure where we are going to put her.

Anyways, I'll quit my yapping. We will be gone from civilization (eletricity and all) until Tuesday. I may be on a bit tomorrow at work, but that's about it. So just an early...HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE.

coasterqueen replied: We are going to Land Between the Lakes with the IL's. Dh has our days jam packed with activities. It will be fun, though.

Di - take two kids and all the camping supplies for 13 people and you can pack a van full pretty quickly. Just two kids packs it pretty full. Gotta bring bikes, baseball bat/glove, kickball, sand toys, water toys, baby toys, play pen so the little one doesn't play in the fire, lots of extra clothes for them, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. And like I said we are bringing all the necessities for 13 people (except their tents) so we're full!
