Was Rear Ended at a stop light!
Maddie&EthansMom wrote: I was on my way to get Maddie and was at a stop light and this guy behind me rear ended me. I was perturbed. Luckily he wasn't going fast. I think his foot just slid off the brake. It jerked me a little bit, but nothing was hurt...not even the car. I just got out and looked at it and told him everything was fine and to go on. I'm glad it wasn't worse than that and I am okay. DH is glad the car is okay! LOL!
mckayleesmom replied: scary...I always watch people in my rear view mirror when I stop,,,they come up so fast I think I might have a heart attack.....Then there are the people that think they will pull out in front of dh's truck...don't know what their thinking,,,the thing looks like the monster truck big foot...it isn't going to hurt his truck.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Wow, glad it wasn't serious! Don't you just love the way some people drive?
chloe&tysmommy replied: wow thats scary, luckily you and little bean are ok!
A&A'smommy replied: wow im glad you are alright too!!!! And that maddie wasnt with you give baby bean lots of kisses
MommyToAshley replied: Yikes, so scarey! I am glad you, baby bean and the car, but especially you and baby bean, are ok. I'm glad Maddie wasn't with you either.
I was in a pretty serious accident a few years ago on the highway. The car that hit me in the rear end actually landed upside down on the highway below us. I am still paranoid when I drive and always watch the cars that come up behind me. Tailgaters always make me sooo nervous.
~CrazieMama~ replied: I am glad you are ok. Good thing he was not going fast.
paradisemommy replied: whew...glad to hear it wasn't more serious than it was and that you and baby b are doing well..
Maddie&EthansMom replied: You know, I am always one to look in my rearview mirror, too. I made it a habit. I guess I was fortunate this time for not looking b/c I would have tensed up and that would have made it worse on me (I think). I am so glad Maddie wasn't with me, too. She would have freaked. I can just imagine all the questions now. When I was pg with Maddie I was in a wreck, too. It wasn't bad. It was in a parking lot. I just hate it, though. I tried not to be all shaken up over it.
Mommieto2Girls replied: Wow, how scary, so glad to hear you and little bean are ok. Good thing Maddie wasn't in the car to.
supermom replied: Glad you are both OK - it's a scary thing to be in a wreck, no matter how small it is....
mummy2girls replied: i had that happen to me in the winter. this old lady hit black ice and plowed into me...she hit me going at least 50. and my head snapped forward. Luickily this happened one month before i got preg with jenna...
amynicole21 replied: Something like this happened to my best friend 2 months ago!! She was 23 weeks preg and driving a huge SUV. The SUV was totalled, and she went to the hospital to check on the bean... basically they just monitored her and she was having some irratic contractions. The worst part was when the jerk doctor came in and told her to go home because even if she was to go into labor they wouldn't try to save the baby They said 24 weeks was the cut-off and she was too early, so she might as well go home. WHAT??!?!?!!! Luckily she was fine, but who says that to a pregnant woman??
I am so glad that you and the bean are ok! What a scary thing.
