I work full-time in the emergency room in a childrens hospital. It is a very hard but rewarding career. I met my lovely wife while she worked in the N.I.C.U at the same hospital. And we both to this day work at the same hospital. (well she isnt right now).

I am Dee Dee, btw. (TLCDad is my DH) I am a first time Mommy to Ashley who is 15 months and is a handful but such a joy!

Thanks... yes it is very rewarding. I love working and helping babies and children of all ages.
Yes i have treated some cases of the flu...one little baby was brought in one day because he was vomitting alot. he would not keep anything down! Evrything that went in came back out. So he was put on iv because he was showing signs of dehydration. many kids have come in with the flu.
paradisemommy replied:  nice to *officially* meet you!!! i am tammy, dh is keoki and ds is taven who is almost 17 months and keeps me on my toes..i don't post as often as i would like as i am usually chasing after him and trying to pick up after his tornado trail...  but it's all fun!!!

Shooter replied: Hey there, Daddytobe. I'm another dad here. I have a 12 y/o stepson and a 21 month old son who came a bit early on us (28 weeks), so I know the NICU area pretty well. I also work at a Children's hospital, very closely with the Emergency Room. Hope you enjoy visiting here.

Nice to "officially" meet you! I'm Mollie (27), my DH is Shane (34). I have 3 boys from my 1st marriage, Logan 10, Quentin 8, and Ethan 4. DH and I have a daughter together, Hannah Rose 20 months on Sunday. I'm also expecting again around March 16th. I'm a SAHM, and DH is a shift supervisor for a large compant that's close by.
You and your DW sound like the sweetest couple in the world. I think you guys are going to be AWESOME parents!!!

I am a work away from home mom- at a party rental company, have 2 great boys Matthew - 5 years old and Thomas just turned 2 and a wonderful DH ( who thinks I am strange spending all this time interacting with you all, but I am from another city and have no real life friends in town here).

i`m a SAHM of 3 kids... Jacob is 7, James is almost 6 and Jade is almost 4 months old. My DH Jamie posts here also. Are you at sick kids here in toronto? it sounds like a very rewarding and very draining job. i admire what you both are doing.

I am Heather (25) married to Jason (26) for 5 years. We have one daughter Alison (17 months) and one on the way (10 weeks along due July 14). I work as a Respiratory Therapist in a very busy city hospital and hubby is a Police Officer .
