WTH is in my garage?

luvmykids wrote: I'm trying to clean out the garage and theres something in there. I *think* it's a mouse stuck in a plastic bag in a box but I can't tell for sure where it's coming from and can't make myself investigate. I know I'm a wimp but I CANNOT handle mice!!!!! It sounds like a rattle snake which is highly unlikely but we do have them around here, more likely the mouse scenario. DH is on his way to check it out, cussing me for being such a weenie.

MommyToAshley replied: I'm a weenie too then. No way I would check it out... in fact, I would probably be on a chair as far away as possible while DH checked it out. laugh.gif

So, did you find out what it was yet?

C&K*s Mommie replied: laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif Not laughing at you, but with you two!! I would be a weenie about that myself. But I would be sure to hold it over my DH's head for laughing at me about that, if there is ever a snake nearby and he is the one jumping on a chair! He did jump on a chair outside one time though, come to think of it, dropped something on the snake, but the snake slithered away. emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I don't mind mice, but snakes scare the crap out of me!!!!

gr33n3y3z replied: I would prolly kick the box or bag out the door and run like crazy LOL

luvmykids replied: I'm even worse with snakes, it's really bad. Even if it's just on tv I freak out and hyper ventilate. Once DH thought he was helping me confront my fear, he hollered at me and when I looked he was holding a big bull snake up to the window. I threw up on the spot!

He's not home yet, I'm on my stool with my feet up ... I know its silly, I know whatever it is isn't gonna kill me, it's just the creep factor.

I'm very disappointed, the mice at our old house (and snakes, for that matter) were so common, I thought I'd gotten away from them!

kayla's mama replied: We just got over the mouse invasion here.

I was the same way...they give my the heepie jeebies. eeew.

luvmykids replied:
I threw a plunger at it, but didn't stick around to see what came out (or didn't!) I was holding the laundry room door open with my foot, threw it, slammed and locked the door. Does a lot of good, huh?

Maddie&EthansMom replied:
laugh.gif rolling_smile.gif This is what I would've done

Kaitlin'smom replied:
laugh.gif I am sorry but oh what a mental picture laugh.gif

C&K*s Mommie replied:

oh sorry, now I am laughing at you! Slamming the door I would do. But that was hilarious that you would lock it. emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif Oh Monica, you keep me in stitches! LOL laugh.gif laugh.gif

TANNER'S MOM replied: I hate mice Monica and snakes too@ I hate them Hate them hate them.

We seem to find alot of field mice.

I will never forget putting my hand in a feed sack and a mice running up my arm.. I thought it was going down my shirt.. Girl I was naked before I could think and running like crazy! My Dad was there and I didn't care.

I will have to tell you about Dh sometime.. He worked on a real professional RAT farm!

luvmykids replied:
Thats exactly what DH said. Of course when he got here there was no trace of it, no noises, nothing. I said maybe I killed it with the plunger toss! I made him empty out that box, nothing. But I do know we have a mouse (or two) in there, so I opened the garage door and gave it a chance to run out before I get ugly with it. rolling_smile.gif Probably just gave the rest of his family a warm welcome!

Mel, what in the world do we have rat farms for?
