WTH? I'm a little freaked out...

I would have been too scared - I would have made sure all the doors and windows were locked and called 911. If you think you might have had anything with credit card numbers or any other kind of personal info I'd call and have an alert put on your credit just in case.

ETA: I just read your post again and noticed you said they went in your neighbors front door - do you think it was your neighbor? That would be really strange. I probably would call the cops.

Thats the only reason I did go out, is that it was one of the neighbors, I couldn't tell if it was the mom or dad or one of the kids but it was one of them. Very weird And I'm still pretty annoyed, period. I'm tempted to go knock and the door and ask them, at the very least they'd know I knew they were over here nosing around or whatever they were doing.

Yeah that is really weird. Why would your neighbors, even one of the kids, be in your garbage?! I would want to go ask them about it too - I'd probably be scared to though. Although if it was one of their kids, if I was their parent I'd probably want to know if my kid was going around snooping in my neighbors garbage!

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Monica I don't want to scare you or sound paranoid BUT the thing that came to my mind was were they trying to get to Kylie's window? My best friend is having a HUGE scare in her neighborhood with a peeping perve-he has been seen at several windows and she saw his face in her daughters window not too long ago.... I would be very upset either way and if it happens again I would call the police neighbor or not! I am sorry girlie! I hope you got some sleep !

I'd been thinking things like that but after we got home a little while ago I went to check the gate to the back yard and make extra triple sure it was locked, there was a plastic bag with dog poop on the ground... Now I really want to know what all the ruckus was about, why the heck were they in my trash can at 1am and what does a bag of dog poop have to do with it? Why couldn't they put it in their own trash can? And why was it on the ground and not IN my trash can?

redchief replied: People invade our trash receptacle area on a weekly basis. I'm not sure where the restroom sign is but apparenlty it points to my side yard.

Since you said that there was a bag of dog poop... maybe it had to do with getting their dog that got loose in your yard? I hope it is something innocent like that, but you can never be too careful. I think I would knock on the door and ask.

And, I agree, you nut... don't go outside next time, even if it is your neighbor. They can explain to the cops what they are doing out there.

And I know I shouldn't have gone outside, I guess I was just so irritated I couldn't help it

I will call the cops if anything happens again though, I don't care if it's innocent or not, they can mess with someone elses garbage at 1am but not mine

I was sitting on my front deck one night, smoking (when I smoked) and I saw this guy walk around my garage and into my backyard. I was like WTF?? So, I waited for a second (my dh was right inside) and then all of a sudden he comes back around the garage, I yell out "Who the 'F' are you and what the 'F' do you want?"

I about scared the bejeepers outta one of Lacy's guy friends Poor kid, said he was walking by and thought he saw Lacy in the backyard and walked back there to check.

LMAO!! He was shaking scared!!
