Mommy2Isabella wrote: I was looking at the U/S from when I was 6weeks and 1 day, and then looking at bellas U/S from when I was 9weeks and 1 day, A LOT CHANGES ... I mean she looked like a baby < kind of in her U/S ... but this baby(ies) looks like a BLOB ..

Calimama replied: Crazy! Maybe it's because it's twins! happy.gif Isn't Bella red-headed? Seriously how cute would a set of red-headed twins be? wub.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: LOL Bella is red headed ... Im not sure about another red head, she has TOO MUCH OF A TEMPER... already ... lol!!!

~Roo'sMama~ replied: I know it is amazing isn't it?! happy.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: This blob looks funny compared to her blob though... I am going to see if I can find her U/S pictures and post them both together ... and see if you can see the difference

Mommy2Isabella replied: Isabella at

indywndy_04 replied: Maybe it is a boy blob and that is why it looks different...although I cant see a difference...sorry sad.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied: Ok, Im seeing two blobs. laugh.gif I'm never good with those things. blush.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: LOL after I posted it I was looking and I was like ... umm I guess you can't really tell, the U/S from bella is old and faded ... lol

But her blob is a good deal smaller looking ..

This new blob, looks bigger ... maybe I will look for a better photo! LOL ...

jcc64 replied: Ok, I'm clueless- they both look like little kidney beans to me. No discernable difference to me- sorry!

BabyOwen427 replied: I think I see two blobs. Is that what I'm sposed to see? Congrats anyways! Hope it is two for you. I would love to have twins some day also.

luvmykids replied: Where are you guys seeing two blobs? I'm terrible at these things, I'm sorry, I don't see a difference either blush.gif laugh.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Where was Bella's twin? You said her twin dissapeared around 10 - 12 weeks...?

I would have thought that this new twin pregnancy would have looked a lot like your other twin pregnancy..? Especially with it being bigger than Bella and her twin at 9 weeks 1 day...you sure this isn't triplets? ohmy.gif

luvbug00 replied: ditto to the kiney bean thing. emlaugh.gif i love those early sono's we had mya's first at 3 months. so she already was looking like an alian human critter.

Mommy2BAK replied:
I was thinking the same thing huh.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: Bellas twin is not shown in that u/s It was higher up in the uterus I am sure I could dig up an U/S with her twin if need be!

A&A'smommy replied:
please do that would be interesting to see!

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
Seriously. You'd think you'd have wanted to compare a u\s pic with BOTH twins in it...

huh.gif rolleyes.gif

lovemy2 replied:
unsure.gif Huh? I am sooo confused - isn't that black hole the sack for the baby in your uterus? And I know twins can be in their own sack but can they be in a different place in your uterus? And how BIG is your uterus that both sacks don't show up in one picture? Do you have two uterus' and the twin was in the other one and then the twin AND second uterus "disappeared"? emlaugh.gif I honestly don't know what that black hole is - is that just where the baby would be - seriously guys I have no idea and I am so confused on this twin, fibroid, triplet, etc. thing that I am not sure now where my uterus is emlaugh.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

Calimama replied:
Seriously, you could have copied that right out of my mind.

rolling_smile.gif So seriously though, can someone explain to me how the twin, uterus thing works? And how they both don't appear in an u/s? I really don't get it. blush.gif

luvmykids replied:
I suppose there are exceptions, but in my personal experience with twins, they DO both appear. I, personally, never had a single u/s without both showing up in the same picture. Every u/s pic I had clearly showed "baby A" and "baby B" wink.gif

Boo&BugsMom replied: I suppose if the whole sac is not shown in the u/s then the other twin could not be there. ??? You know, like if they would have zoomed in.

luvmykids replied:
That's a possibility, I did see them individually when they zoomed in, but all my prints showed both, kwim? I suppose some will print out individual portraits laugh.gif Once they were bigger/more recongnizable as "babies" we got their profiles, etc but that wasn't until much later on.

eta: I don't know if they can zoom in enough to show only one sac so large, kwim? Here's a link to a pretty typical twin u/s, they're focused on baby b but you can still see baby A.Twin u/s 8 wks

lovemy2 replied:
OK good - so then my uterus is where I think it is right? I mean it hasn't moved or disappeared since I had my kids right emlaugh.gif rolling_smile.gif

I think its in the same place unless someone borrowed it and didnt bring it back yet emlaugh.gif
All this talk about twins and stuff to me those pics look like nothing but beans in there or is that the sac and the fluffy wheite stuff is the baby?

grapfruit replied:
I looked at the link and still don't know what I'm looking at. Maybe b/c he pix are so small? Too bad it doesn't let you zoom in. sad.gif Oh well.

Well my fingers are crossed for twins for you!

luvmykids replied:
No, the little black bean thingys are where the babies are laugh.gif

grapfruit replied: So let me get this straight. The dark (black) thing is the baby, and the fuzzy gray is the sack?? I'm so serious that I have no clue. sleep.gif (probably b/c I've never been through it)

luvmykids replied:
This one might be better twins u/s
These twins are in separate sacs so it might be easier to tell, the gray in the black blobs are the babies, the black blobs are the sacs.

(Just to be clear, these aren't my twins' u/s. I found both that I posted on about.com)

Crystalina replied: Hopefully everything turns out ok with them ( or the one). I couldn't imagine having twins! I don't know how anyone with twins is sane, especially if you have other children. wacko.gif

I can't tell from the early u/s's. I can only make out the baby in the later month. happy.gif

grapfruit replied:
Ok that helps. Obviously those are further along!

Can twins be in the same sack ever? I thought I saw that on the National Geographic channel that they can...

luvbug00 replied: they can ( isaw it on discovery) it's just much more dangerous. because one twin might take more of the nutrition threw his/her cord then the other has a chance to get. or so they said.
