WHY?
Kirstenmumof3 wrote: Oh I wish she hadn't started this phase! Lately when you say something to Claudia she says "WHY?" At Daycare she asked where mommy and daddy were and they said at work. So she asked "WHY", they told her so that mommy and daddy could buy her toys, she asked "WHY", yesterday I told her she had to sit in her highchair for supper she asked "WHY" I said it was because it was supper time. "WHY" I told her because we were hungry and it was time to eat, "WHY" I think it's a little early for her to be going through this! I can see that this is going to get pretty frustrating.
Josie83 replied: The why phase drives you crazy! Cassie loves that word as well. "Say bye to Daddy." "Why?" "Because he's going to school." "Why?" "To learn how to be a better actor." "Why?" "So he'll get a job." Why?" "So we don't live on the streets." "Why?" Argh!! Sometimes you are just so tempted to either make something up or say "just coz!" Or is that just me
amynicole21 replied: LOL! That little stinker Sophia's newest phrase is "Who's That?" Every time the phone rings or she hears a sound she doesn't recognize it's "who's that?" It drives me bonkers!
kimberley replied: LOL!! oh boy, she sure is starting early! fight that temptation to say "because i said so!" LOLOLOL
MommyToAshley replied: LOL! That's funny!
Ashley's newest phrase is "What you doing?" .... all day long I hear, "What you doing Mommy?" or if both of us are in the room it's "What you doing guys?" LOL!
coasterqueen replied: Haa haa! Kylie does that and it drives me insane! I could be trying to get her to sleep and if she hears the slightest noise it's "who's that" or "what's that".
coasterqueen replied: I remember when Kylie started that phase. Drove me insane and she still does it, lol. I expect it to just get worse as she gets older.
Heather replied: OMG DEE DEE!! Alison does the same thing. She has been doing it forever, and it hasn't stopped. LOL...
Heather replied: I am scared to enter this phase. Alison has started the "why" phase yet.
Mom2Boyz replied: LoL what a silly girl
paradisemommy replied: we're in the "what's that" phase..i'm kinda hoping we can skip the "why" phase!!
lsjulee replied: all so familiar.
An started his "why?" phrase too.
"Get dress." "Why?" "Take a book, I'll read for you." "Why?" "Don't snatch Zae Zae (sister) things!" "Why?" "Drink your milk!" "Why?" (and this just happened this morning)
He always "question my authority".
Josie83 replied: Another one of Cassie's favourites its "where . . . " but its really weird the things she asks! She always wants to know where everyone is, but half the time its people she doesn't see very often! Like she doesn't see my brother Steven very often, but out of the blue sometimes she'll just ask me "Where's Steven?" and then I tell herhe's probably at work or wherever, and she'll say "What's he doing?" Or if someone comes to see us, she always asks them "Where's your dad," or "Where's your mummy?" even if its like my little sister! She's so funny! xx
Kaitlin'smom replied: oh no...hopefully the novity of the word will wear off soon
