And, here's an extra one.
I know it's a scary thing, but just try to concentrate on the fact that soon you will be holding your sweet baby in your arms.

Whether your pregnancy was meticulously planned, medically coaxed, or happened by surprise, one thing is certain -- your life will never be the same.

As I walked through the woods, I looked up and saw a squirrel. I smiled and he smiled. At least I think it was a smile. My teeth were showing and my cheeks were pulled up. That's a smile, isn't it? (The squirrel was definitley smiling)

I had an unplanned one, recovery was not much fun but the more you move the sooner the better, take the baby for walks up and down the hallway.

Just think you will be holding your sweet little baby boy soon!
indywndy_04 replied: How do you feel? Do you have any suggestions for me for the hospital stay? Anything I should bring from home that will be helpful? I dont like the hospitals big sanitary pads, so I did buy some....anything else I might need?
HuskerMom replied: You'll do great! When I went into labor I was not expecting a c-section and ended up having one. It turned out to be so easy! It was really quick too. I think that between the time that they took me in there to the time they had me sewed up was only about a half an hour. And I was holding my son maybe 15 minutes after that. Just take it easy afterward. I wish you luck!

punkeemunkee'smom replied: As much as I say it will be so nice to have the next time mapped out for me,I know I will/would be nervous about the surgery! Just remember what the outcome is and get ready to enjoy that new sweet baby!
indywndy_04 replied: Thank you all for your hugs!! I REALLY appreciate all of your support and sorry for being a big baby (no pun intended)
I will remember all of you hugging me as I lay flat on my back in the OR at the doctors mercy. I will focus on the baby and will be excited to show you all pictures of him.
3xsthefun replied: Actually, I feel great. I don't even feel like I even had a csection 3 weeks ago now. I started moving around faster this time around.
One thing I can suggest is get up and try to move soon as possible. That is one thing regret with my first csection I didn't get up until the next day. I got up and and sat in a chair the same day this time. I believe it really helped me this time that I got up soon as they would let me. I had my csection in the morning and was sitting in a chair around 7 pm.
Also, be sure to bring a pillow along for the ride home. You can put it between your seatbelt and the incision.
I actually used the hospitals pads this go around. Only cause I bleed so heavy. (sorry TMI) I used the ones kinda look like a big diaper for a couple days. Not sure what they were called actually, but used them for the first day and night. Then I used the other pads they provided me with until I go home and used my own.
