Very Sad Day - Please pray for DH's family

DH's first cousin who is either a year old or younger..I am sorry I can't remember which was fatally shot last night...he died at 4pm yesterday. But the police didn't notify the next of kin until around 11pm last night.

Randy had went and visted some of his family the other day and come home telling me that this cousin "Junior" is what we call him was getting a divorce. He had been married for 10years and had 3 little girls. It really shocked us that he was getting divorced. I really liked his wife.

This is going to sound mean..and I don't mean it too. But at 12 years old Junior almost died. He caught himself on fire with gasoline. The right side of his body was badly disfigured and he was hard to look at. It honestly took some getting used too. He was burned so bad his fingers were webbed together.
But he was the nicest guy, tired to be funny and the life of the party..

I guess him and his wife had been fighting..from what I hear now he had started drinking..which was a side of him I hadn't seen. So his wife left him..

His world spun out of control.. he got a girlfriend from what I am learning. They had not been together long. He told her yesterday he couldn't do this anymore..he was going back home to his wife and daughters.. Had called his wife and agreed to rehab. As he was packing his things..she shot him point blank with a rifle.

She is now in jail on murder charges..and there are 3 little girls without a daddy.
I am so very saddened.

Randy's Aunt and Uncle..have no idea how they are goign to pay for a funeral. They are both very poor from alot of medical expenses of their own..it is so sad all the way around..

Well not as close as adults as they were as kids. They grew up being the same age and they were close then I guess.

As adults he would come visit every now and then..maybe every 3 or 4 months..but since he was having so much trouble he was staying away.

Sometimes life can be so cruel, you know..just when he was getting himself together and making the right decisions about going home and being a responsible family man, his life ends tragically! I am very sorry Mel!
