Vacuum?

We have a dirt devil and it's ok, but the stupid filter gets plugged up fast, and then I have to use another vacuum to clean it. I'd love to have a dyson or one of those other ones that doesn't have filters.

my2monkeyboys replied: We have a rainbow. It was costly, but worth every cent in my opinion. When you can toss out a bowl full of dirt, sand, hair, nasty water, etc. every time you use it, it shows it is working. I hope I never have to own a different kind.

Maddy'sMommy replied: i have a dirt devil too... and I guess it is ok. The one probelm is that it is small and does not have a hose so it is hard to get under stuff and in the corners.

Boo&BugsMom replied: We have a Bissel and I hate it. I go through filters like crazy because it get's so clogged and whenever I vaccum up low rugs the crap spits back out from the back of the vaccum. I wish I could afford a Dyson, but they are so expensive.

Calimama replied: I have the Dyson vacuum. I love it. I found that it was cheaper at Best Buy (yea they sell vacuums ) then it was at Sears.

Our Lil' Family replied: I have a Dirt Devil bagless but I still hate it. I never feel like the carpet is clean enough. I'd love a Dyson too...we just saw some at Lowe's and I thought DH was going to have a heart attack just looking at the prices!

Mine was about $580 after taxes. They had some nice ones as low as $399 I believe. Haha I sound like a car salesman.

I think a dyson is a good vacuum but I've also heard very very good things about Oreck.
