Vacation slideshow/pics

The pics are mostly of the kids at the swimming beach at the Veterans Memorial/National Park that is on Lake Blackshear, it was a great place and we hung out there three or four days. The other pics are of the golf course, bar/restaurant, etc.

We had a great time, didn't go to the beach or Universal because we were having such a blast just hanging out that we didn't want to leave It was a gorgeous place, tons of the tall pines and pecan trees everywhere. The weather was a little chilly most of the time but still nice, the people were all fabulous. To sum it up, I would have stayed another month if I could have. We're going to try to start selling horses and stuff like that so we can spend most of the summer there.

The kids all look so cute....Love the picture of the girls digging in the sand together and the one of Kylie laying in the sand. I also love the one of Colt staring into the ocean.

luvmykids replied: Kylie took a few that I deleted, I think I was making the bed or something. I was a little naieve to think it would be a real vacation

Not very well, the neighbor said he barked constantly but I don't know if it's because he missed me or because the girl housesitting didn't play with him enough Thats one reason the dogs will go with us this summer

When are you moving, have you decided yet?

We still haven't decided anything, I think I want to move but I've also told DH I can't do a huge move like that without some idea of how permanent it would be and because of that we still have some waiting and seeing to do.

I'm also not sure whether I loved it because we just had such a good time, or because I really loved it, kwim? I know we all need to be together but I'm terrified of moving and then him deciding to do something else for whatever reason....the course and restaurant have really picked up but profitability depends a lot on selling lots and building houses too.

Right now we're trying to figure out how to go for the whole summer....selling horses, how to get the dogs there, etc and I'm hoping we'll come to some answers over the summer.

I used a high school senior who was also on spring break, and whose mom is a friend of mine and my parents. It went great for the most part, horses looked good but the neighbor said Harley was a mess while I was gone, crying and barking . They left the house even cleaner than I did, which was pretty dang clean but it was sooo nice to come home to. And her mom left me a note that she had a friend who cleans carpets and owed her one so she had him come do the stairs and second story....which was really great, probably one of the nicest things anyone could do I was a little embarrassed at first but she really is just a sweet lady who looks for ways to help you, kwim? So I decided to just appreciate it b/c I've been wanting to have it done and just hadn't gotten to it.
