V-day gifts........... - what did you get?

I got a book light so I can do my readings for my classes in bed with Jaci asleep, half a dozen roses, and a love "coupon book". Can't wait to use some of those coupons!

mummy2girls replied: I didnt get anything...SIGH. But I did get aron from jenna a calgary flames bobble head collectors item, and some pjs and some body wash cologne. I was going to get him a framed pic of jenna but the certain pic i couldnt find...
coasterqueen replied: I got a wonderful beautiful day with my husband and daughter We ran some errands, played, ate a nice steak dinner at home that we cooked, and got to relax with DH after Kylie went to bed. It was a perfect day with my two perfect valentines I got two beautiful cards too, one from my booga and one from my hubby 
Kylie was an absolute angel on V-Day. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day.
My parents got me some flowers and a card.

Jamison'smama replied: We had a great day as well. No big gifts, just some relaxing time together. We did start a "tradition" of sorts and let Jamison pick out ANY card she wanted to for each of us. When she was with me, she picked her daddy out a card with pictures of Elmo and Big Bird on it that says "Wow, you're 3" and the one she picked out with her daddy for me was a "Congratulations on your new home" card. We think this will be a wonderful thing for her scrapbook. She also picked out our gifts. She picked DH out a plant (which I thought was a great gift) and she picked me out a REALLY frightening Beanie Baby in the shape of a starfish. It is called Wish--crazy looking thing but I love it.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I got a little heart of chocolate from my MIL. That is gone all ready.  From my Mom I got some sweatheart washclothes. These are really cute. She knows I'm on WW so she didn't send me any candy. From DH I got two e-cards. Kind of dissapointing, but he's in Fl and he didn't see the need to get me anything. I got Jade a heart balloon that has a white teddy bear on it. The message reads I love you. She loves it.

booey2 replied: I got the dozen roses from work, which are now in the trash because Thomas knocked over the vase smashing it and getting glass all thru the roses. I got a card and three roses from DH and I got sick. Very sore throat, don't wanna eat, hard to swallow and I just wanna sleep.

DH signed us up for Dance lessons...pretty cool gift, I am excited!! 
3_call_me_mama replied: We went to dinner and took a rain check on a movie (nothing that appeals to me is out right now) also I got my most favorite candy..... (which is kinda hard to find because it's Easter candy)..... CADBURY MINI EGGS!! YUMM!! (the all chocolate ones with the thin candy shell that crunches when you eat them cold! not the gooey kind)

Kaitlin'smom replied: I got 13 roses deliverd to work from DH, a big card, kiss kiss bears from hallmark, and from Kaitlin a sweet card and a glass bear holding a rose on a mirror with a small photo fram on it. I was a nice day we also went out to dinner.
DH got a photo of Kaitlin and I and some sliky boxers, and cards.
Kaitlin got cards and a stuffed unicorn. She loves stuffed animals!

Before V-Day, DH and I decided we would get eachother season passes to Disney. We're going on our first trip to Animal Kingdom there in a few weeks, and actually, we're not going to bring Sophia that time 
jen replied: well my dh tried to redeem himself and he did! He got me a bunch of hair stuff, a gift certificate to starbucks , flowers and dinner at The Olive Garden! He also got me a card from Maddy that he personalized and made me cry! Then a card from himself that made me cry again! haha! Anything is better than a PSII game and he ended up doing great!!!

You know it's kinda of funny and I used to believe in V-Day, but the older I get the more I wish my Dh would be romantic and sweet on his own terms not because a holiday tells him too. KWIM? So I guess I really don't believe in it myself, sorta.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I got some really nice pajamas for the hospital...as a matter of fact they are too nice for the hospital and I'm considering wearing them home the next day instead!

Beccas_mom replied: My DH did pretty Good! I got a Ruby Ring. We took a weekend trip to Dallas. Did some shopping. And we had fondue on Sunday night! It was nice! And I did it all wiht DH and Becca by myside the whole time
