Update...sorry MIA - prayers for family

My husbands "grandpa" (he isn't blood but he is called this and means alot to him and his family) has been on life support with emphazema. They took him off the life support today and he was doing ok for about 2-3 hours and now he is doing alot worse His oxygen level is dropping into the 70's and he is refusing to be intibated (life support) again. He says he is ready to go and just needs to stop fighting he is tired. So it is basically a matter of hours, minutes or seconds. Prayers for DH and is family who is having a hard time with this...thanks in advance

I'm happy to know that he has made peace with this and is ready to stop suffering but it doesn't make it any easier at all.

ETA:With all this hopital time is why I have been MIA.

jacobsmama replied: Thanks to everyone for the prayers...he is still hanging in there. His 1 daughter is flying in from California, I think he may be waiting for her to get here. Thanks to everyone for the prayers and I know that he is not in pain and soon will be in a much better place. thanks again to everyone who is praying for our family.
