Update on my Baby - Poor Jack

Also, she suggested we try acidopholis to help stop the pooping - here's hoping it works because I can't take his crying and heartbreak eeverytime I change him - it is hte saddest thing.

ammommy replied: I hope he's better soon. Getting a stool sample from a little one is a fun challenge. I had to tie/tape a baggie around Megan's little bottom. Oh, she hated it. I just gave her some apple juice, though, because it goes right through her. again.

kit_kats_mom replied: poor guy. does she think it's rotavirus? Whatever it is, I'm sure it's no fun for anyone involved. The acidopolis helps get the digestive tract back into the correct balance. I use the lacto bacillus powder for Lauren whenever she's had loose stools and it seems to balance her out more quickly.

I used that powder once before for Hanna too and it seemed to work well. It helps also if you can try and get him to eat bananas, toast, cheese - anything that is known to stop you up. I know he won't much but every little bit helps.
