Update on me

5littleladies wrote: I'm doing so well right now it is surprising even me. I cry a bit at night, but in general I'm just at peace about everything. I know once the process actually begins I will probably fall to pieces, but for now I'm just focusing on the girls and that really helps. Jas and I talked for a long time yesterday and we've decided that we will probably wait for a while before ttc again-if at all. My ob told me that since this is the second time I've miscarried and since it happened in the second trimester there is a possibility that I have a chromosomal abnormality that would give me a 50-50 chance of miscarrying each time I conceive. She told me that before we try again I might want to get tested to see if that is the case. I don't know what we will do. For now we are content with what God has given us and we are just going to wait and see where things go. Thank you all for praying for me-I really believe this peace I have is God given and I know prayer is a part of that.

I am glad you have found some peace. I know when we lost Joshua, I went through all the phases of grief--- denial, guilt, why me?, angry, sadness. In the end, the only peace I had was knowing that Joshua was in His hands. There were some special circumstances, and it wasn't until later that I realized that God had given me the strength to get through all of it.
