Update on Us...

We are doing great. DH has a wonderful job now...making more than he was before he lost his job and he has BENEFITS! It is pretty far for him to drive still, but he doesn't seem to mind.

I'm relieved that I am still able to stay home with the kiddos. Maddie is starting her 3rd year of preschool soon. She is ready! (and so am I) Maddie is doing wonderfully in her new role as BIG SIS! She has to know where Ethan is at all times. He is a little spoiled by her! I can't wait to see how he acts when she goes back to school. Ethan is growing way too fast. Since he is our last baby I wanted him to stay a baby longer, but he is just way too alert and wants to grow up. I enjoy every minute with my kids...they keep me very busy.

I am trying to get into a routine around here and I'm doing really well so far. I was in a slump for several months after Ethan was born, but now I seem to be managing my time a lot better. I assume I had some PPD (looking back). I just felt so alone and I should have known to reach out more, and now that I have started reaching out to more people and get out more, I feel much better.

I know I haven't been around much, but back when DH lost his job I switched to dial to save $$ and it was a bear trying to get on the net. I feel as though I have missed out on a lot here. I finally got DSL and hope to be checking in a lot more frequently. I have missed you all so much and hope everyone is well.

I'm so glad everything is going so much better for you now. What a relief it must be to know DH has a reliable job (with benefits!!). Sounds like Maddie is really enjoying being the big sister. I KWYM about them growing up so fast; Kayla is almost crawling already!

It would be a real treat if you could share some more pictures of your beautiful children . I love seeing them together; you sure can tell they are siblings!

I can just imagine Maddie fulfilling her role as big sister. I bet she is thrilled to be back in pre-school too.
