Update on Spencer - Update on Spencer's Hospitalization

Kirsten wanted me to post an update to the board as things have changed dramatically in the last 24 hours. On Thursday, Spencer got very sick so we took him into the emergency room. They put him on IV fluids and did blood work and said that he would probably be admitted overnight for observation. His blood work came back and his counts had decreased greatly so they ordered a blood transusion. This morning (Friday) the nurses and doctors in Thunder Bay consulted with the head of hematology at Sick Kids in Toronto and the decision was made to air ambulance Spencer (and Kirsten) to Toronto. They arrived there at about 9pm tonight.
Thank you all for keeping Spencer in your prayers. Kirsten will not have access to a computer for a few days at least, but I know she will update you all when she can.
