Update...in case you were wondering

Danalana wrote: Not only am I NOT pregnant, but I started early this morning, and it is the worst period I have had in a long time. I have been nauseous with it because I am in incredible pain. I managed to go to work, but I am so glad I had a short work day today...when I left, i was almost in tears. I have taken more medication than anybody should take in one day already.
In other news, I started a real BBT chart today. If nothing else, I get to connect dots!!!! Good times...

I'm right there with you on the pain though. I hardly made it through my night class last night (I was just dumb and hadn't been counting my days) so I wasn't prepared with medicine at all. I think it's been one of the most painful periods I've ever had. It always seems when you don't want it to show up that's when it's the worst.

Try the hot water bottle or a heating pad and also... might sound crazy, but either Bengay or Vicks vapo rub applied to your 'crampy areas' (in my case my right side and back) works absolute wonders. If you apply that and sit in a warm bath... even better! Sometimes I can actually do that and avoid having to take my next dose of pain reliever.

Again BIG hug.gif

Danalana replied: yes....I exceeded the amount of drugs you whould legally be allowed to take in one day at...oh, about 3 o'clock. let me clarify, here. Not narcotics. Just over-the-counter drugs. I've had about 10 extra strength tylenol and 2 aleve gel caps unsure.gif And I still have to medicate myself for bedtime. my second day is usually worse...shoot, maybe I SHOULD have narcotics!

gr33n3y3z replied: they do make a perscription for cramping just call the Dr

tylenol is not all that its cracked up to be it would be the last thing I would take its just not good for you
