Update

Kirstenmumof3 wrote: Spencer is in isolation once again. We were told yesterday that he could room the hospital and leave his room. But we saw a few new spots and the doctors think that this might me another infection of shingles. So now he has to stay in his room. The plan might be to have him transfered to the hospital in Thunder Bay. We need him to start taking his medication orally without getting sick. This has been a really big challenge now for the past 2 weeks. DH is here and has been staying with him all day. I'm allowed to have unsupervised passes now from the hospital and can come and visit Spencer whenever I want, but only for 2 hours at a time. I don't know when we will be going back to Thunder Bay, we will decide at the end of the week if we want to go ahead with the transfer to the hospital in Thunder Bay. It's really tough and I miss the girls so much! Clinically Spencer is doing very well and from the Transplant point of view it was a huge success. It's all up to Spencer.

Thank you so much for the update. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of you and Spencer. Continued prayers for a quick and full recovery. I know how much it would mean to you to be able to go home.

Good to hear that your DH is there to offer assistance, esp at this much needed time.
