Ultrasound today - 6w3d

The ultrasound was WONDERFUL! We saw out little one as soon as the little wand was put in there. The little heart was pumping away, and then we got to hear it...you should have seen my husband's face. The heart rate was 123, which is great for how far along I am. The baby measured right on, so everything looks great I go back in 4 weeks to se the doctor, but no ultrasound until between 18 and 22 weeks. So yeah, it went very well! I'm so glad it's over because I had nightmares all night long Anyway, I shall post pictures tonight.

Danalana replied: Well, you can't by Doppler...but this was on the ultrasound itself.

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Aww, that's great!!! I'm so glad you got to see your little bean. Thats cool you got to hear the heartbeat too - the times that I've had a u/s that early, it was with a portable machine with no sound, and no way to print out pictures.

I showed my mother and she was just beaming with joy. Then she said "I can't decide who she/he favors most" I think it favors Richard right now

jem0622 replied: You can rent a monitor for home to listen for the heartbeat. However, you probably won't pick it up until 10-12 weeks along. A good investment!

I had a doppler, I was a total spaz and everytime I worried, I'd switch it on and feel better. I wish I still had it, I'd send it to you but I sold it on ebay... it's DEFINITELY a worthwhile investment - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
