Uh what the heck?

I just find it a bit scary that they can vary so much. BTW I have never taken more then 2 (the recommended dose) in a 24 hour period and I usually only take one.

Teesa®© replied: I take Tylenol 8 Hours for headaches. They're 650mg each. I pop two and I'm good to go. Very rarely will I have to take more than two.

I've never had a migraine, that would probably take more than two.

I can handle any kind of pain, but headaches? I'm a HUGE

Crystalina replied: I take Ex. Mig. and I never really even read the back. I think I've been taking too many all this time. There have been nights when I just keep taking them but all I get is a stomach ache, they don't help ( I just think they do). I've noticed that if I start to get a migraine and DH is home I take an Advil PM and it goes away!

MommyToAshley replied: That's odd... especially if hte meds are identical. Is there any ingredient listed in the Excedrin that isn't in the other pain reliever. I think I would bring the bottles to the pharmicist and ask him... I'd want to know why the quantities are so different.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Did you check to see if they were the same strength? I know I bought a store brand bottle of Tylenol one time that said you could take 2 every 2 hours when usually it's 2 every 4 hours - I compared bottles and my extra strength Tylenol was I think 500 mg and the store brand was only 200 mg.
