Uh Oh....chicken pox

mckayleesmom wrote: I think Russell has the chicken pox....I might be wrong, but he has a bunch of bumps on his back and a couple on his front..... blush.gif I think its just a possibility for now.....I will wait and keep an eye on them. I checked Mckaylee and I didn't see any on her, but its only a matter of time before she catches them if he does have them...Heck..she probably already has the virus in her system if he has it.

mckayleesmom replied: I should also add that this would be strike 3 for the kiddie pool....Im sure that is probably where they got it if that is the case.... rolling_smile.gif

PrairieMom replied: yuck. I hope it isn't. Public pools are so gross!

luvbug00 replied: can mya come over adn play? the kid has yet to get them. and another reason we aren't big pool goers sad.gif

Jamison'smama replied: Poor little guy, keep us posted. Did he have the vaccine? If so, he won't get a lot of pox if he does get them. Jack never seemed uncomfortable with his, he had about 20 total. The doctor told us at the time it was either a little viral rash (and rashes are apparently running rampant around this area right now) and would just go away or if it were pox, I will keep seeing little bumps pop up for a few days. He said pox usually appear in the hair and on the trunk first.

Hope it's not the chicken pox but he'll be fine either way.

1lilpeanut2love replied: Poor baby! sad.gif I hope he doesn't have them! wink.gif I hope McKaylee doesn't have them either. wink.gif Good Luck! hug.gif

Did he have the vaccne for it?????????????????

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Oh I hope not! What a miserable illness. I hope it's a small case if anything and I hear the younger the better. hug.gif Does he have fever or anything?

mckayleesmom replied: Yes...he has had the vaccine...and like I said...Right now Im only seeing some spots..not alot.../

A&A'smommy replied: I hope not but I'm SURE if he does it shouldn't be too bad considering he has had the vaccine!!

redchief replied: Why do I always start to scratch myself on seeing a Chix Pox post?

Hope it's a light dose if he has them at all.

luvmykids replied:
When I had the pox, the first was on my tummy and the second on my head. They weren't regular bumps though, they looked a little more blistery if that helps any.

But still hoping neither one of them has them! hug.gif

TheOaf66 replied: well it is good to get it out of the way while they are young that is a positive anyways
