Ugh! I broke down and got her one against my - better judgment.....and other pics.

She has such a strong sucking reflex that I had to. She'll drain both the ta-ta's and then I make her a bottle. Then she pukes. That's when I realized that she isn't hungry and she just wants something to suck on. What else could I have done? It's a Nuk so hopefully it doesn't mess with her teeth and hopefully I can take it away early.

She doesn't even really want it when I first give it to her. I have to wiggle it around a bit to get her to suck on it. I think she just wants her happy meal (ta-ta's) 24/7.
Here are some other pics of her just hanging out.

BTW, I have nothing against binky users! I just know the turmoil of getting the binky away from the baby. I don't want to have to go through that.
my2monkeyboys replied: I know what you mean -- Waylon did that just the other night -- ate until he threw half of it back up, that's when I thought, hey, he just needs a paci! I don't love them, but if it makes him happy.... By the way, she is gorgeous!!! My DH even thought so and made a comment when he walked by the computer just now.
CantWait replied: She's so sweet.
Both my boys had paci...more so Robbie then Anthony (who used me more often then not), anyway I didn't have problems taking it away from either of them. Sometimes babies just wanna suck for comfort.
Crystalina replied: I want to see that baby woman!! Have you posted pics yet? Maybe I just missed it.
moped replied: I know how you feel, but they do have a need to suck.........take it away by 6 months and you should be fine!
She has gorgeous skin, and she looks a lot like you!
kimberley replied: she's beautiful!!
Cece00 replied: she's adorable!!
hey, better a pacifier than thumb. My 2 younger ones suck their thumb and BOTH of their teeth are a little off bc of it, and they are only 2 and 3...and NOT giving up that thumb.
*sigh*
A&A'smommy replied: awwwww she is so cute with her binky!!! Hopefully she wont take it very long Autumn dropped hers around 3 1/2 months
MoonMama replied: She is SOOO cute!!!!
Ugh I know what you mean. I didn't want to give Brae one either....but he had a lazy suck so we ended up doing so to help (which it did). And he gave up his on his own at about 6 months old, and FWIW his teeth are perfect.
BabyOwen427 replied: Owen had a paci. I mainly used it at nighttime to help him relax to sleep, in church to keep him quiet, and in the car when I just couldn't get my boob in the backseat for him. He gave up the paci around 11 months. No fight, he was just done with it.
She's adorable, and she doesn't look like a newborn. She looks almost a month or two old. I love her squishy cheeks, I bet they taste yummy!
Danalana replied: Kade never cared about his paci, but he did sleep with it some....mostly if he fell asleep taking his bottle. I would take the bottle out and put the paci in. But he won't have it at all now...never really wanted it when he was awake. He will hold it and talk to it My mother said I wouldn't have one either. The good thing about them is that they help prevent SIDS.
Joak replied: A little tip.....our older son used one and I took it away at 10 months, he had a cold and could not suck so I figured what a perfect time! Threw them all away and he never put up a fuss! The one time that a cold can be a good thing!
jem0622 replied: I'm glad you figured out what she needed!
My boys were binky users. My girls hated them. I had one who gave it up at a year without issue...and the other one used his binky's as 'money' and got dinos in exchange for his binkies.
She's adorable!
Calimama replied: She's gorgeous!!!
3xsthefun replied: Aww! But Mom she is so cute!
lisar replied: both of mine used them. It wasnt that hard to take away. The bottle was worse for me. But she is still cute with it in her mouth
