Do you ever just wake up in the most completey irrational mood..?

I don't know what is wrong with me but boy, everyone and everything is setting me off this morning, I wish I could snap out of it! It's like I can sit here and tell myself I'm overreacting or being stupid..but I can't stop it...
I really despise when I get in moods like this b/c it's sooooo opposite of how I normally am!

did you not sleep well, or do you remember a bad dream you had. these can certanliy effect your mood

TANNER'S MOM replied: My husband says that I am the moodiest person he has every met. My kids make comments about mom being in the "MOOD" so yes I feel for you honey!

ctymom replied: I have days like that too! It is very aggrevating knowing you're feeling that way and cant seem to just stop. So now when that happens... I just tell hubby and kids that I'm in a very aggravated mood and everything is setting me off. lol Saves alot of grief!

Katherine's favorite new morning game is "pick the grumpies off of mommy". It goes like this.

1. I wake up in a foul mood
2. Within 5 minutes of Katherine waking up, I say something that clues us all in to the fact that mommy has not suddenly turned into a morning person.
3. Daddy says "it's time to pick the grumpies off of mommy Katherine! Let's go"
4. I sit on the floor with my coffee (very sullen but trying not to smile because she is soooo excited about major responsibility)
5. Katherine picks off the grumpies like she's a little chimp grooming her mama. (this part usually lasts long enough for me to get the coffee down...thank GOD!) She makes little comments like "ooooh, dats a big gumpy" or "Ah! ders a nutta one mama!"
6. she gathers up the grumpies and throws them all in the trash

I'm usually laughing by now and in a much better mood due to the coffee and her sweet little comments and kisses.

AWWWww what a cutie pie... the only way I can be in a good mood is if Alyssa wakes me up with LOTS of hugs and kisses and that ALMOST ALWAYS happens

My2Beauties replied: I show my butt in the a.m. as well!!!! Like just yesterday a friend of ours was coming over our house to pick something up at like 7:10, I had set the alarm until 7:30 and Brian had to leave already, he comes back in the house as I was about to lay back down and says she is coming over, I slammed my foot on the ground and said (in the most whiniest tone ever) I don't WANNA I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP!!!! Luckily he knows how I am in the morning and laughed. He said she'll be here in a minute and went to work

paradisemommy replied: i get woken up every morning by taven sticking his fingers in my eyeballs lifting up my eyelids accompanied by an extremely loud shouting of "WAKE UP MOMMY" inspired by the wiggles.."WAKE UP JEFF!"..how can you not get up laughing at that? oh yeah and my early bird is up at 6 every morning...
