UGH! The heat....
MyLuvBugs wrote: Oh it's so hot. Friday and Saturday it was over 100 degrees here. Then it rained on Sunday early AM....Now the humidity is in the 70%'s....and the temp is in the high 80's low 90's.....it's like a sauna outside. I feel like I can't leave the house b/c I'll melt. Even in the AC I sweat like none other. I told DH last night that all other children will be conceived in summer/fall, and born in spring/winter b/c I can't do this heat in my last trimester again.
How are you other PG ladies coping with the heat?
Jackie012007 replied: yeah I'm dying... we didn't plan this baby but next time instead of conceiving in April it shall be AUGUST!! My stomach is starting to pop now and the heat makes me sweaty and dizzy ... today in NY it is about 80 but with 69% HUMIDITY!!! I've been moving in and out of the the one air conditioned room in the house, man I would never make it living in the south!!!
flirtycuddle replied: I am in az where the the normal high is 113. I refuse to go outside. Even with the AC on I am sweating all day
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I have been lazy and miseable. It is actually a lot cooler the last 2 weeks or so then it was for a couple weeks. It's only in the 70's today (though i do feel like I'm sitting in a sauna) I was spending a lot of time in the basement as it is cooler down there or being miserable and going outside so the kids could run off their energy and I would stay as much in the shade as possible. Oh yeah I have also been living in as little clothes as possible so anyone that drives by at teh right time can see me in little cotton shorts and a sports bra
Jackie012007 replied: hahah oh yes as little clothing as possible...I'm sitting in my living room with a pre-maternity tank top on that is starting to ride up my belly, and in my undies... I just don't care! I dunno how you 3rd trimester chicks do it, I'm still in the end of the first and I'm DYING!
MyLuvBugs replied: Yeah. I'm about read to sleep nude at night b/c I just can't get comfy in this house. The AC is set to 72 degrees, but it's still unbearable. LOL DH thinks I'm nuts.
Boo&BugsMom replied: I know how you feel. My son was born the end of July. It was dreadful!!! The humidity was horrible.
Boys r us replied: ughhh let's just say that this is a switcharoo for me b/c both of my boys were conceived in august, born in may & that's the way I like it! This heat is killing me! I can't believe I have to go the rest of the summer like this!
flirtycuddle replied: I sit in my house with the AC set to 70 and it never gets cooler then 78 cuz the place isn't insolated well. I run around in a bra and boxers but no on is home but me all day and my dd. I am so ready to be done with the heat lol. My dd was conceived in March and I had her in Jan but lived where it was only 85 and I was biggest in the winter when it was snowing. I am never going to have a summer baby again!!!. Only 8 days and I am done thankfully lol.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I went through my entire third trimester during the summer. Logan was born on Labor Day weekend. LOL, how fitting. However, if I ever have another ITA, conceive in the late summer.
redchief replied: I feel like my dad playing top this right now, but here goes. This weekend it has been in the upper 80's with humidity also in the 80's... Quite steamy, and it's relatively cool here. Five miles off the beach they have the same humidity and temps are near 100.
MyLuvBugs replied: Yeah! I'm due the day after Labor day. lol All my friends think it's funny that I might be in labor on labor day. We'll see if I make it that far.
ProudMother4857 replied: I'm only about a month and a few days but, I still have to drink gallons of water to keep the baby dehydrated. (accordinng to my doctor). Which doesn't help me much because I have to go pee every hour or so. So drinking that much water just makes it worse.
