UGGGGH - Teething
lovemy2 wrote: Dylan is a teething fool right now - ruining his naps bigtime - fortunately still sleeping at nite BUT he is killer for whoever is watching him during the day.....
Any good remedies anyone - other than the norms - tylenol, teething toys, ambesol (which I am not really sure does anything at all but...)
Poor kid he is like Niagara Falls with the drooling and has his bottom lip pulled in chewing on it all the time...
stella6979 replied: You could try freezing a washcloth. That worked well for Avery. I've also heard of people giving their babies frozen peas (one at a time), but I was too scared to try that.
moped replied: I have heard of frozen mini bagels but I was too scared to do that
Calimama replied: That's what I do with Bella. She loves chewing on it!
moxee24 replied: I used TEETHING TABLETS, they are homiopathic. I found them at walmart in the vitamin section. They worked wonders on both my kids. I also used frozen otter pops put them in their high chair and kept an eye on them, didnt open them just let them chew on the whole thing. Good luck
lovemy2 replied: Hmmmm that sounds like a good idea - Olivia never really went through the whole teething thing - she just got teeth....
Someone told me once that boys are easier than girls...
HA
Calimama replied: Bella doesn't have too many problems with her teeth either. She started getting them at 2 months so she's an old pro by now. That will probably come back and bite us with our next kid.
lovemy2 replied: She actually got a TOOTH at 2 months?
lisar replied: This is the best thing I have ever found. I am not kidding. I know you can get them at walmart. Raygen had about 4 of them. She would chew on them so much. When the child presses down on them with thier mouth is starts to vibrate.

lovemy2 replied: How funny - I almost bought one at Walmart today but thought it was kinda wierd....might have to go back and get one -
He's got these two little white spots on his swollen little lower gum - I will let you know when we have eruption
Calimama replied: No, that's when they started to come in. She didn't officially have teeth you could see until about 3 months. She gets them in pairs, she's 9 months old and has 10 teeth. Crazy huh?
MoonMama replied: Same here, teething tablets. Working like a dream! Mine are by Hylands they say, I got them at Wild Oats, but I have seen them at Walgreens if you don't have a Wild Oats there. Good luck, and I hope he gets some relief very soon.
