UGG Boots - anyone have them?
moped wrote: Is the sizing accurate??? Like, if i am 7 will I be a 7 or an 8??
Boys r us replied: It's been my experience that they're sizing is pretty consistant with other shoes! They're the coziest things you'l ever put on your feet!
moped replied: Great - don't laugh but I have requested the pink ones and I am going tobuy a pink puff coat - this weather has hit me hard this year - I froze this morning!!! I am finally buckling and needing good winter clothes - LOL
So I am going to look like some blond ski bunny with my pinks on!
Boys r us replied: Awesome!!!!! I would have loved to have gotten the pink ones. But I opted for the regular camel-ish colored ones b/c I have a camel colored suede coat that I wear a lot in the winter.
C&K*s Mommie replied: I have tried on the generic UGG's at Walmart. WOW!! I did not realize that even the generics are warm & comfortable (for someone that hated to wear shoes!)
gr33n3y3z replied: I wear a 7 and a 6 fits just fine I did buy a 7 my proper shoe size but they were to big
luvbug00 replied: I WiSH!!!! i have the target kind and i LOVE them I want a real pair!!!
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I WANT SOME PINK ONES, TOO!!!!!
You're gonna look so cute! You know, it doesn't get cold enough here to warrant spending that kind of money. But, I would love a pair!
coasterqueen replied: You will look great in them I'm sure.
Hmmm, maybe I'll go get the Wally World or Target brand of them. Sounds nice and warm. I never buy snow boots and my feet freeze every winter. I'm such a cheapskate I just don't buy boots.
holley79 replied: Ok I am such a fashion nightmare. What are ya'll talking about?? LOL. Leave it to the FL girl to have no clue.
C&K*s Mommie replied:
These are examples Holley from the UGG store in AUS. They were most notabley made famous by Pam Anderson, that is where I saw them first and fell in love with them!
holley79 replied: Thanks Nicole. LOL. I'm a train wreck waiting to happen. I didn't know those were Ugg. One of the ladies I work with wear them. Maybe they would be cute with the right outfit. On her they look relly stupid. JMO
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I like these
Maddie&EthansMom replied: and these
C&K*s Mommie replied: I think I love those moreso than the any other, Aimee.
holley79 replied: I love the second ones. Now those I would wear. I'm not much into the colored ones. Humm... DH was wanting to know what I wanted for Christmas.
jacobsmama replied: I just told DH to get me some of those for xmas!!!
coasterqueen replied: I like those second ones too Aimee. I'm not sure I could wear them though. Is your pant leg supposed to go inside them or outside them? Ever since the whole moon boot era for some reason I can't put my pant legs in my boots anymore, it makes me think of those.
BTW, I saw on Payless' website they are back.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: You can wear them inside or outside your jeans or with skirts.
I have the clog ones from Payless They are SO comfortable and warm and LIGHT!!!!
ETA: I will never own a pair of Uggs. I can't spend that much money on a pair of shoes when it isn't very cold here, kwim? I just can't justify that. But I do love them.
C&K*s Mommie replied: I f I can find those particluar color boots, Aimee at a lesser price I will certainly buy them! But you are right paying that much money for cook weather boots, when it does not get that "cold" (here in Florida for me) is ridiculous! But love them anyways! {{always a fan of any brown shoes}}
coasterqueen replied: Well if I won't be a fashion victim wearing them under my pant legs I'd get a knock off pair. I saw a girl at the mall the other day with a skirt on and the uggs, YUCK! Just don't like that look, not for me.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: There are lots of things I can't pull off. I'll just stick to my more traditional style.
holley79 replied: Well I am sticking to my sandals and slippers for a while longer. I can't even fathom the thought of shoes right now. I'm ready to have my body back.
CCTandME replied: Before you pay full retail for Uggs, check out Ebay, Marshall's and TJ Maxx. I have seen Uggs at Marshall's recently for $60-$70. I have also seen SOME deceny deals on Ebay. Be sure to check Ebay stores and not just auction style listings. Ebay stores tend to be cheaper because their fees are significantly cheaper then auction style listings. Good luck!!
