Twins...

I loved his name when I saw it and I too wanted to spell it with a Y but Dh wanted it to be close to his which is Brian because he wanted him to be a Jr. in the beginning so we went with Brice .

Jamielou replied: we have about 4 sets of twins and all are boy girl and way back in the day a very very long time ago ive only seen black and white pictures of them but we had 3 sets of triplets. but the last two sets in the family one was lost before birth so the only living ones are in thier 30's. My aunt and uncle dale and gail. Maybe somebody will have a set soon. My family breeds like rabbits

We only have one set of twins in my family, and one in DH's family. They are both distant cousins though, so I'm not counting on that ever happening with us

I think only fraternal twins are genetic.....for example it can be genetic for a woman to release 2 (OR MORE) eggs. I think that identical twins are just a fluke splitting of the fertilized egg.

mckayleesmom replied: My moms second pregnancy was twins...it was before me and my older brother. She lost one when she was 3 months pregnant and the second one she delivered at 6 months and it died about an hour later.

jacobsmama replied: My Grandma was a twin identical both grils (Iona & Mona) they married twin brothers (troy and Coy) They say twins go every other generations so that would be my generation. Me and My cousin are the only 2 of our generation to have kids so far and neither one of us had twins hopefully not the 2nd time around for me either and she isn't having anymore so maybe one of my sisters will luck out with them.

Both I and DH have twin girl cousins, one set married a twin also.

LMBO I use to really want to have twins too my brother and I have such an awesome bond. But like you said THANK GOD that did not happen I don't know how my mom did it twice. The second time at 42

Mylilprincesses replied: The twins in our family have come every generation so far for quite awhile. My great grandma was a twin....my grandma, who has GET THIS....TWENTY ONE brothers and sisters have FOUR sets of twins out of those (3 girl girl sets and one boy/girl set), my mom miscarried twins her first pregnancy. Now, I'm just scared for my turn LOL. So far, none of my sibings have twins of their own.
