Tuna while pregnant?
My3LilMonkeys wrote: I can't remember and google results are inconsistent...is it no tuna or limit tuna while pregnant?
A&A'smommy replied: limit to one small can a week
AlexsPajamaMama replied: I was thinking about this the other day...the can of tuna I got says natural source of omega 3 so I thought it was a good thing to eat but wasnt sure on the "rule" while preggo. I dont eat it often, but I enjoy an occasional tuna sandwich....with chips inside the sandwich
My3LilMonkeys replied: Thanks! I am in desperate need of grocery shopping, and my options for lunch tomorrow are tuna or Campbell's chicken noodle soup. I was really hoping I could eat the tuna.
mckayleesmom replied: You can have it........just in moderation.
jem0622 replied: I ate it often and my kids are okay...all 4...knock wood.
Calimama replied: I ate it, just not by the gallons.
A&A'smommy replied: I ate a BUNCH of it while I was pregnant with Alyssa and she is just fine I didn't know that you weren't suppose to eat much of it.
MoonMama replied: I ate it maybe once a month.
lisar replied: I was always told to stay away from tuna while pg.
Hillbilly Housewife replied:
I ate tuna, soft cheeses, lunch meat, sushi, sushimi, I drank coke and drank coffee.
Kids are fine, doc said it was all a crock anyways. I'd be more concerned about daily processed stuff rather than some fish once in a while.
kimberley replied: in moderation, i am sure it is fine. even not pg, you shouldn't eat more than 8oz in a week, i believe. but i'd have a tuna sandwich while pg every now and then.
