MilMunchMOM replied: alright i could use the xtra influence here!!! I started weight watchers 8 weeks ago. Here's how it's going.

started at 167.6 (bear with the points here ok)
2 weeks later 162.6 -5
4 weeks later 156 - 11.6
6 weeks later 154 -13.6
8 weeks later 152.2 - 15.4 (I weigh in at the meetings on mondays, so this is as of yesteday)

Is is ok for me to post my monday weight????

Great work, I too am a ww member and weigh in Monday nights. This where you post it no matter what day you weigh in.

As for me I am down .6 of a pound for a total of 39.4 pounds in 18 months.

coasterqueen replied: Well I had gained 2.5 pounds last week and don't know why. I thought it was because Af was just ending and I was still retaining water or something. But I weighed this morning and still have that 2.5 pounds bawling.gif bawling.gif I haven't gained that much in a long time and it doesn't appear to be weight fluctuation bawling.gif bawling.gif

I'm just so depressed today bawling.gif bawling.gif The weird thing is all my clothes aren't fitting tighter. Some of them are actually feeling a bit more loose now than when I was 2.5 pounds heavier.

Hang in there, it can happen, it is just a hiccup in your journey (believe I am talking from experience here, been doing ww for 18months). Have you been extra active lately? That may account for some of it. Remember this too will pass. grouphug.gif

Thanks. I've been doing a different Taebo tape, 45 minutes long instead of 25 minutes long, but only doing that about 2x a week, which is what I was doing the other one for too. Otherwise, nope no more activity.

Your very welcome, thats what we are here for to help support everyone, losers and gainers alike. I think that the increased time of your workout might be just what it is. You have actually 2 additional work outs to your regime because you lengthened the time by doulble your old work out. Hope this helps.

guess that little piece of cake and ice cream for the bridal shower did not help.

Its so frustrating, there are so many foods I want to eat but know I should not. How do you all get past cravings? My worst is brownies and chocloate. The brownie part is easy I dont make them anymore, but dark chocolate and a hershey bar is so easy to go buy one..... help.gif

The good thing is spring is about here and I can go out and play with Kaitlin and take walks...hurry up nice weather...and stay!

Julie (jem0622) replied: I have indulged in the Atkins bars and made Atkins desserts and I'm still losing. Something to think about. A lot of it is sugar free.

Now remeber that muscle weighs more then fat. It is very possible that you have just lost fat and gained muscle. Your clothes are looser which makes me think that might be the case. I hope that helps.

MilMunchMOM replied: WOW....everyone is really in on this huh?? I am still losing the baby weight gain..the nursing helps ALOT!! Emily will be exactly 4 months tommorrow.
My dh is doing the Atkins...I can't live without pasta and potatos.. not the diet for me!! I really like the weight watchers because I can eat what I want to.

Thanks Kimberley smile.gif I'm trying to remind myself of that. This Taebo Cardio dvd I'm doing is twice as long as my regular taebo I usually do and I am seeing tone to my body. It's just that I have soooooo much flab to tone that the improvement is VERY SLOW wink.gif I just wish I can lose weight AND tone my body sad.gif If I had to chose I would say a tone body though. I want to look good in a bathing suit this summer and that means tone wink.gif

Again, thanks for reminding me of what is really important. I'm still a tiny bit sad though, hehehe.

Kaitlin'smom replied: Me two, and now since DH says he is feeling fat (to me he is not) maybe my eating changes will be better since he wond be buying the things I should not have. Even thought the scale did nto show a loss I feel like my bosy is changing and slimming down a bit, which makes me want to try hard to keep from over eating and trying to stay away from to much sugar. My over all would to dorp a total of 25lbs and I would love 10 of it off by May 1st. Thats not that hard of of goal right?

~CrazieMama~ replied: my weight is 169. But I am thinner, cause my clothes are alot looser. I guess that is a good sign. I just wish the scale would go down too.
