Trip to the zoo... - couple pics inside....

not really. but i think because the zoo here is so small.. I want to take her to the san dieago zoo when she is older. Now that would be a blast!

Kylie didn't like our small town zoo. For some reason all the animals scared her. Weird. We are going to a bigger zoo next week and I'm hoping she likes that one.

We have taken Cameron to the zoo a couple times, there is a fairly large one near my inlaws adn also two about an hour from us in Canada (on is a safari and one is a regular zoo). The first time he was about 8 months old and loved it, the second time he was about 18 months and liked it ok, but got tired and irritable quickly, also was afraid of some of the animals. We went this past friday and he LOVED IT! (YEAH) HE was really into the animals and the waterpark that they have, but he was also more willing to touch stuff, like the petting zoo and the snakes, and he even fed a baby lorikeet! I'll post pics later, but figured I'd reply now since there was a ZOO thread.

The closest decent zoo to us is the Audobon Zoo in New Orleans. We keep meaning to take the kids. But the last time we went was when Jacob was just a baby so he don't even remember it. It just costs a pretty penny to spend the day in New Orleans!
