Tree and Present question

Oh and I tried telling her that everytime she touches the tree it makes Santa cry, that doesnt work. She told me he wasnt here so he didnt know she was touching it. So what do I say to that?

MommyToAshley replied: We wrap the ones to and from each other and put them under the tree. Then, Santa comes Christmas Eve and leaves those presents while everyone is asleep. We never had a problem, even when Ashley was younger.

Kaitlin'smom replied: I usually only put out friends and family ones, and closer to christmas I will put ours to each other, but santa gifts come chirsmas eve when all is sleeping and she know which ones are from santa as they are all wraped in the same paper.

stella6979 replied: Nope, our tree is presentless until Christmas morning. Not because I'm scared she will open anything, I just like to see the look on her face.

lisar replied: Thanks yall. I was thinking about putting a shoe box under there and seeing if she would un wrap that first. But the Santa gifts wont be wrapped this year. (they are a little to big) and they always come out christmas eve when they are all sleeping. I just like to have all the other ones under there.

luvmykids replied: Everything goes under as it gets wrapped, except what Santa brings. I remember worrying about the kids getting into stuff, but it never was really a problem.

My kids think Santa is on extra high alert this time of year and that if I need to, I have the ability to report directly to him

Same here. Santa only gifts are placed Christmas Eve under the tree. Other presents, like for relatives, friends, etc. are placed under there before then.

Our Lil' Family replied: I was just thinking about this today, I have a feeling Thomas might be more inclined to open any I put under there this year. They might have to wait until Christmas Eve.
