Took Arik to the ER

So his ears will clear up and hopefully get rid of the virus. I was relieved though. But he still isn't sure about that rash, funny how I was told 2 different things by 2 different docs and then another has no idea what it is. Makes you wonder sometimes. But anyway, at least i can relax and not worry about that flu. But if he doesn't get better in a few days i will take him back.

DansMom replied: Wow, I'm glad it wasn't the flu but still sounds like he's miserable. I hope they figure out the rash. Sometimes viruses can have rashes associated---some people react that way to any kind of stress. I hope Arik feels better soon!!

That is weird about the rash... you've gotten a third opinion and all of them conflict. Maybe a dermatologist is the route to go?

alice&arik replied: Thanks everyone for the advice. I might call the clinic tomorrow and see when he could see the dermatologist. It is bothering me not knowing what it is. Although it will probably be nothing.

Today he wouldn't eat anything at all. He had a cracker when we got home and a bite of pb sandwich. Then we took a nap and I got him to eat a bowl of yogurt and he drank some water. Then I gave him his medicine and about half hour later he threw up all over. So I gave him more and now he went to sleep. But he hasn't had many wet diapers at all today, just messy ones from the medicine, so I hope he doesn't get dehydrated. But I am sure he will feel better soon, he was talking a lot today an dplayed quite a bit. So I think he is feeling a little better.
