Toe nail polish ?'s

luvmykids replied: Corals are big right now, and when you can get a pedi the french manicures on toes are still popular too.

Kaitlin'smom replied: I woudl love a french main on my tose but I cant stand my toe nails to be that long. I like them painted tho, and I just do waht ever color stikes my mood, or I let Kait pick, course she LOVES pink so that is always her pick.

My3LilMonkeys replied: I do lots of weird colors - green, blue, orange. Sometimes I will do 2 different colors, designs, etc.

I don't paint my fingernails so I go crazy with my toes!

kayla's mama replied: Thanks guys!!!! I'm trying to get into this girlie, girlie mode. I'm tired fo being a tom boy....I feel so silly as to ask a simple question like this but I have absoluelty no clue......I'm thinking of the coral colors, or maybe do a red, white, and blue theme for the 4th.

The colors (lipstick & nail polish) I tend to stick with are different shades of mauve.

AlexsPajamaMama replied: I only paint my toes nails. Whenever I do paint my finger nails it gets chipped and wears off soo quickly its more of a waste of time to me.

Id sooo love to get a pedi...but I'll stick to doing it myself, its fun and I feel like I'm pampering myself!

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Yeah, I read corals are in, but they don't look so great on me. I typically go with just red or a bright pink. Sometimes a light pink, but I'm so white that it doesn't look so great.

luvbug00 replied: I'm too ticklsh for a pedi! but I'd like to try sometime. Bright colors are in too viberant tangerine and fire fusha! at target and rite aid and CVS they have the NYC brand that has polish for 99cents each!

Jackie012007 replied: I've never had a pedi cuz for some reason the thought of someone touching my feet totally grosses me out!! I do my own nails... I don't grow them out really long, just pretty much to the end of my finger, then file them and put a coral colored base coat down. I get those strips that you apply to your nail so you paint the top white part straight, then peel off the liner and apply a top coat... do the same on my toes, which are NEVER very long cuz I used to be a ballerina about 80lbs ago and got used to keeping them really short for the toe shoes! They key is patience... gotta wait for the layers to dry completely, then they look professional and it's practically free once you buy the french nailpolish kit and the strips (probably spent a total of $5 for the kit and have used it about 6 times now)

I second that!! I use to do it all the time you can just buy these little kits or just by some white and clear its very easy

Brias3 replied: I am more olive-complected as well and usually like to wear brighter colors- pinks and reds- on my toenails. If you want to go more general, a neutral skin tone color or a french manicure would look nice. For an at-home pedicure, I just tried some new polish, Revlon's Color Stay nail duo. For about $6 at the drugstore, you get a color and topcoat duo in one package. It's supposed to last 10 days and really holds up well- an extremely durable polish IMO.
