Today of all days!

I get my paycheck every other Monday. Today was a payday. I was expecting it to be well over $1,000; DH & I both thought it was going to be that much. Well, it wasn't. It was a little over $400. We did a lot of shopping this past weekend, expecting my check to cover the house payment and what we spent. Well, it will cover what we spent, but not our house payment. I was almost puking sick when I saw how small it was. I get SO frustrated with that company, because this has happened before around Christmas. It always seems to happen whenever we really need and are counting on that money. DH is going to talk to them and see what happened. Usually its their fault, and I'll get a bigger check next payday. We're not the saving type (we are truly awful when it comes to that). So, I guess we were asking for it in a way, spending money before we had it. I also had to drive in this bad weather to get it deposited right away before any checks bounced. The roads were slippery since it snowed some last night. I had to drive an hour one-way to get it there. No direct deposit for me! They can't do it since I'm technically self-employed, and don't work directly with the company.
And to top it off, I got my first AF since Kayla was born. I'm in a real crummy mood. I hope the afternoon is better.
Thanks for letting me get that out!
DansMom replied: Uggh---multiple hugs.
I know this is no consolation, but I can't pay my mortgage on time again this month either---I will probably be able to pay right before the penalty date again. I can just imagine that sinking feeling of money you expected not being there. It's awful.
Sorry about AF too
AshleyRose replied: I am sorry to hear that things haven't been going smoothly today. I hope the day gets better for you! I hope you get the rest of the money you deserve with no problems as well!! And also sorry about AF... I sure don't miss those visits!!
My2Beauties replied: Must be in the air, I had to take $300 of Brian's Christmas Bonus to pay my bills this time around. My paycheck Friday didn't cover half the crap I owe out right now. I know how you feel hon and I can't save a penny neither! HUGS to you, money problems are frustrating!
coasterqueen replied: Aww Mollie I wish I was there to give you some ((HUGS)). That just stinks! I hope they get it resolved and QUICKLY!
Hey we live paycheck to paycheck and the only savings we have is Kylie's college fund. Dh makes sure he puts a tiny bit of money and I do mean tiny bit in her account each month but as far as ours goes....it's running on the $25 it takes to maintain it. So you aren't alone in your spending habits...we do the same, especially lots of no interest financing for so long time of items we purchase . That's why I need to get a $1500 bonus by February in order to pay off what the furniture we bought Kylie earlier in the year.
Anyways, I hope your day gets better and I'm so sorry about AF too. That stinks! I know that was one thing I was looking forward to being pg again was the no AF...course spotting/bleeding off and on for the majority of it so far has not made it seem like no AF.
5littleladies replied: Ugh! I'm sorry you are having such a rough day Mollie! I'm in the same boat as you (and apparently many other people on this board ), we tend to live from paycheck to paycheck and things are extremely tight for us right now especially with it being Christmastime. I hope things get worked out for you soon. And I'm sorry that AF decided to rear her ugly head but look on the bright side- now you can get pregnant again.
Mommy2BAK replied: awe... I am so sorry! That really stinks. I hope it was just a mix up and you can get it fixed!!
Kaitlin'smom replied: oh I am sorry, i hope it gets streighten out, as for AF I with you on that one I started yesterday so i am not in that great of mood, to crampy to feel okay
we used to live paycheck to paycheck, I could not do it anymore hoping things would not clear before money got in, I managed to get a bit ahead and still thankful am.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I know that feeling well. Bad times these past couple of years have forced us to live paycheck to paycheck. It sucks. I run to the bank to deposit DH's check as soon as he gets it and hope the checks don't hit or our automatic debits for insurance, etc don't hit (or the bank charges a $30 fee) And, like Tracy, we are rarely able to make our house payment or car payments on time. That will change come January when we get rid of one car. I will miss my car, but not the payment.
Hang in there. I'm sorry about AF. I started this weekend, too.
favre4fan replied: ARGHHH!!!!
MomToMany replied: Thanks everyone! I'm feeling better now. DH will find out tomorrow at work what the problem was with my check hopefully. In the meantime, DH got a short-term loan from our other bank to cover the house payment and other bills until my checks get figured out. They are so nice & generous (to us anyway) there.
LOL, I told DH that, and he said the sooner the better! It also gives me the chance to try out my new cloth Mama pads.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Your DH is so sweet. He loves babies, huh?
I'm so glad you guys got everything worked out. I stress so much over the house payment, etc. I hope you get your money soon.
MomToMany replied: Yeah he does. I'm also having baby fever. Maybe it will happen soon!
